When is the best time to do a China tour?
Generally speaking, any time in a year is nice tovisit China as different seasons show different scenery. However, in order to ensure you a better experience, you are suggested to put some special days out of your plan if it is possible for you, such as Chinese National Holidays (Oct 1st – 7th) , International Labor Day Holiday (May 1st – 3rd), Chinese Tomb-sweeping Day Holiday (around April 5th) and some other Chinese festivals days when it is a peak season for Chinese domestic tour.
Besides, some destinations also are seasonal. For examples: wet season (May to September) is not good time for you to travel in Tibet as the traffic condition would be badly affected; winter (November to March) is not good to do a Silk Road tour as it is too cold for people to be outdoors; winter is also not so good to travel in some cities famous for their fabulous natural views like Guilin and Yangshuo.
