Upon arrival in Beijing, local driver will hold a welcome sign with your name on waiting for you at the exit. Then Transfer to the hotel. The Rest of the Day will be free at your own exploration.
Day 2 Beijing
Attractions: Tian’anmen Square, Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Chinese Kongfu Show (Breakfast + Lunch)
Meet your guide and driver in hotel in the morning and then drive to visit Tian’anmen Square, the largest city square in the world. Then from the square you will walk to visit Forbidden City, the imperial palace of the Ming and the Qing Dynasties. Then you will pay a short visit to a Silk Market and then head to Summer Palace, the largest existed imperial garden in China. In the evening you will appreciate Chinese Kongfu Show in Red Star Theater.
Day 3 Beijing (Breakfast + Lunch)
Attractions: Mutianyu Great Wall, Dingling Mausoleum
The first stop of today is Dingling Mausoleum, one of the 13 Ming Tombs in Beijing. Then after a short visit in Jade carving factory we will continue to visit Mutianyu Great Wall which is famed for its magnificent landscape. If hiking up and down is too much for you, cable car is available and optional. On the way back to downtown area, you will visit a Silk Market to appreciate traditional Chinese Silk arts.
Day 4 Beijing – Xi’an by Bullet Train (Breakfast + Dinner)
Attractions: Shaanxi History Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, dumpling dinner, Tang Dynasty Show
Meet your driver in hotel at about 05:00 and transfer to take the bullet train G89 (06:53-11:24) to Xi’an. Upon arrival meet your local guide and driver. In the afternoon you will pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, one of the largest museums in China that houses the cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province and show the development of Chinese nation. Then you will visit the nearby Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The pagoda was originally built in the Tang Dynasty to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that Xuanzang brought from ancient India. In the evening you will enjoy the dumpling dinner and Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 5 Xi’an
Attractions: Terracotta Warriors and Horses, City Wall, Muslim Quarter, Great Mosque (Breakfast + Lunch)
Meet your guide and driver at 08:30 and drive to visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses. In the afternoon back to city area to visit the 600 years old City Wall, the best preserved and largest existed city wall in China. Biking riding on City Wall is available and optional.Then take a walk in Muslim Quarter – the best known food street in Xi’an. At last you will visit the Great Mosque. The Mosque was built in totally Chinese architectural style and is the major gathering place for all Muslims living in Xi’an.
Day 6 Xi’an – Shanghai by Bullet Train (Breakfast)
Attractions: Yuyuan Garden, Old City of Shanghai, Jinmao Tower
Meet your driver at about 07:00 and transfer to take the bullet train G362 (08:46-14:45) or similar train to Shanghai. Meet your guide and driver at Shanghai train station and pay a visit to Yuyuan Garden, a 400 years old Chinese style garden which was built in the Ming Dynasty. The following stop will be Old City of Shanghai where you will see the old appearance of the city. Finally you will visit the Jinmao Tower and stand on the 88th floor of the tower to have an overlook of the city.
Day 7 Shanghai
Attractions: Shanghai Museum, Nanjing Road, the Bund, Huangpu River Cruise, Tianzifang, Old French Concession (Breakfast + Lunch)
Today’s visiting begins with Shanghai Museum where you will see the past of Shanghai. The next stop will be Nanjing Road, the earliest business street in history of Shanghai. Then take a walk in the Bund where you could see the best scenery of old and modern Shanghai. And you will take cruise ship on the Huangpu River to see the scenery here. After then go to visit the charming area of Shanghai, Tianzifang the place mixed of old and modern, food, art, music, etc. The last stop will be Old Frence Concession which used to be one of the two largest concessions in Shanghai.
Day 8 Shanghai departure (Breakfast)
Our driver will meet you in hotel 3-4 hours before the flight departing and transfer you to airport. Service ends here.
