Our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit of Chengdu airport / train station by holding a welcome sign with your name. Then you will be transferred to the hotel.
After a short rest, start your visit atĀ Jinli Old Street. That street used to be one of the oldest and busiest commercial streets of Shu Kingdom (221-263). In that street you will see some typical elements of Chengdu lifestyle, e.g. tea houses, taverns, bars, snack stalls, handcrafts, local specialties, etc.
In the evening, you will try tasty Sichuan cuisine in a local restaurant. Sichuan food is one of the eight main cuisines in China, featuring hot and numbing dishes. Believe your taste buds will be satisfied by the meal.

Jinli Pedestrian Street - Day 2: Chengdu Panda Exploration, DepartureEncounter Cuddly Pandas, Learn about Three Kingdoms Cultural Relics
After breakfast, around 8:00, your English-speaking guide will pick you up and be ready for todayās highlight: the āāworld-renowned Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Baseāā ā the ultimate answer to "where to see pandas in China".
This base was established on the basis of raising, treating, and breeding giant pandas at Chengdu Zoo. Entering the park, you can see chubby adults chewing bamboo shoots, lazily lying on high treetops, and furry cubs rolling in the daycare. The tour guide will take you efficiently to explore the most worthwhile areas of the park, while sharing facts about pandas such as their dietary habits, life cycle, hibernation, even help you take photos with these black and white creatures, ensuring that your trip to China with pandas will never be forgotten.
Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding After lunch, we will go to Wuhou Temple, which was first built in the first year of Zhangwu in Shu Han (221 AD). It was originally a dedicated temple to commemorate Zhuge Liang, but later merged into a joint temple for the emperor and ministers. It is the most influential museum of Three Kingdoms ruins and enjoys the reputation of "Holy Land of Three Kingdoms".
The entire park is divided into three parts, of which Jinli Street (scheduled on the first day) is one of them. Today we will mainly visit the cultural relics area, which consists of HuiĀ Mausoleum, Hanzhaolie Temple, Wuhou Shrine, Sanyi Temple, etc. There is an ancient cypress tree in front of Zhuge Liang's Hall, lush and verdant. It is said that it was planted by Zhuge Liang himself and has an age of over 1700 years. The popular " Red Wall and Bamboo Shadows" on the internet is also located in the scenic area. Especially at four or five o'clock in the afternoon, the bamboo shadows on both sides of the alley sway, pushing the beauty to the extreme.
After sightseeing, you will be transferred to Chengdu airport/train station. Your 2-day Chengdu tour ends here.
