Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xian Arrival (No meal)
Upon your arrival at Xian airport / train station, the local driver will pick you up from the exit gate by holding a welcome board with your name and transfer to downtown hotel for check-in. Free and easy on your arrangement for rest of the day.

- Day 2: Xian Highlight Day Tour (B, L)Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Ancient City Wall, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Muslim Quarter
Your Xian exploration begins with world’s heritage Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the Eighth Wonders of the World”, it was found by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into one of the most important attractions in China and the No.1 attractive site in Xi’an. The museum includes Pit 1(the largest pit), Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. You will stay in the museum for 2-3 hours. Listening to the explanation from the expert tour guide, you will learn the hidden story of those live-sized sculptures and history of their owner: First Emperor of Qin who is also the first emperor of China.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then head back to Xian downtown area for another historical highlight- Ancient City Wall. It is the most complete preserved and the largest city wall in China, which was built for the military defense in the ancient time. Since it is cycling the city, visitors can ride a bike around the city wall ( optional).
Afterwards, continue your visit to Bell and Drum Tower Square, which locates in the very center of the city and is considered as the symbol of this old capital. Walking forward, you will come to Muslim Quarter where you will find many special local products and authentic local snacks. You can enjoy preserved meat, casserole, various noodles, and purchase some Terracotta Warriors imitation as souvenirs.

Terracotta Warriors and Horses - Day 3: Xian-Huangshan Tour by High-speed Train (B)
In the morning, the driver will pick you up from the hotel lobby and drive to train station for your high-speed train to Huangshan. The train rides around 7-8 hours, you are suggested to prepare some food before departing from Xian.
When you arrive at Huangshan North Station, there will be the local driver waiting for you at the exit gate by holding a welcome board with your name and drive to local hotel. Have a good rest for tomorrow’s hiking!

- Day 4: Mountain Huangshan Tour (B, L)Mountain Huangshan
After hotel breakfast, meet your guide and drive around 1 hour to the Yellow Mountain. Upon arrival, you will take the shuttle bus to Cloud Valley Temple and then take a cable car up the mountain.
Then hike to enjoy the beautiful scenery at North Sea, Beginning-to-believe Peak, Cloud-dispelling Pavilion and West Sea Valley. There will be many staircases that go up and down, but all the tiredness of climbing will be gone when you see the breathtaking scenery. If you are still in good shape and time & weather permits, you can continue to Sky Sea Scenic Area to enjoy gorgeous sunset at Bright Summit and explore Flying-over Rock. Please do not watch your camera or phone while walking.
Tonight you will stay at a hotel on the mountain so as to catch sunrise next day.

Mt. Huangshan - Day 5: Huangshan Tour & Huangshan Departure (B,L)Mountain Huangshan, Hongcun Village
If weather permits, you will get up in the early morning to witness the incredible sunrise. When the mountain is still sleeping under starry sky, you will leave the hotel to occupy a vantage point and quietly wait for the thrilling moment. With the passage of time, the color of sky will change slowly. The sun finally show its head and the peaks are bathed in dazzling gold.
After enjoying the sunrise, follow your guide to go back to the hotel and have breakfast. Then move on to explore Lion Peak which got its name from the look like a crouching lion. You will visit Dawn Pavilion and see an interesting rock called “Stone Monkey Watching Sea”.
Next, you will hop on cable car and descend the mountain to get back to Huangshan downtown. Then, follow your guide to explore Hongcun Village, locates at the southwest foot of Huangshan Mountain. It is reputed for its long history and nice natural environment. The village covers an area of 19km2. The village can be dated back to the Song Dynasty in 900 years ago. At present there are 138 architectures from the Ming and the Qing Dynasties. In 2000, the village was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site.
After the relaxing sightseeing, you will be dropped off at Huangshan airport / train station for departure.
