This is a relaxing private day tour about places of interest in Beijing downtown area which is popular among family tourists. You will visit Capital Museum, Yonghe Palace, Panda House in Beijing Zoo, and Jinshan Park.
In the morning, your guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby in Beijing City area.
Today’s first stop will be Capital Museum. It was built on site of Beijing Confucius Temple. Through the 5000+ exhibition relics, you will learn about the city’s history and development, Chinese folk culture, Chinese traditional ceramic artworks, etc. That would be a great fest to eye and heart.
Next stop will be Yonghe Palace (also called Lama Temple) where two emperors of the Qing Dynasty bore. Yonghe Palace is also called The Lama Temple because it was translated into the largest Buddhist temple in Beijing in Mid and Late Qing Dynasty.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you will have a close look at lovely pandas in Panda House of Beijing Zoo. You will see adult pandas, young pandas, and panda family.
At last, you will take a walk in Jingshan Park, opposite a street from the Forbidden City. In ancient time, Jingshan Park and its ancillary buildings not only served as a royal garden for visitors, but also had multiple functions such as learning shooting, offering sacrifices to ancestors, official learning, opera and regional activities, etc.
When the tour ends, you will be escorted back to hotel.
Kind Notice: Capital Museum close on Mondays. You can either skip the museum to end the tour earlier, or you can visit other site instead of the museum.

(All restaurants have Western styled Washroom available if this is what makes you feel headache about China) Dinner is mostly left for yourself, so you enjoy more freedom on your local food adventure or some familiar hometown food. If you are a Vegetarian, or Muslim , or allergy on any kind of food, you are suggested to inform this to your travel consultant, they will help arrange proper restaurant or food to meet your needs.
