Through this Xian Essence Day Tour, the knowledgeable English-speaking tour guide will show you the brilliant history and culture of Xian city in a vivid way. You will finally see the rows and rows of life-size Terracotta Warriors, pay a visit to the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda, and mingle with the locals on the large Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square. AM: At 08:30, our English-speaking tour guide will pick you up at your downtown hotel. Then directly transfer you to Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the 20th century, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture. The splendid battle formation will leave you an impressive memory.
Noon: Lunch in local restaurant.
PM: In the afternoon, go to visit Bell and Drum Tower Square which sits at the center of the ancient city to have an outer look of the Bell Tower and Drum Tower. Then move on to Big Wild Goose Pagoda , a sacred place for worshiping Buddha. The pagoda was originally built to preserve sutras and figures of Buddha that Xuanzang brought back to China from India in the Tang Dynasty. Now there is a big Garden around Big Wild Goose Pagoda where people can have a nice walk.
At last, our guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
