TheĀ Symphony of Lights is a famous large-scale light and music show in Hong Kong, listed in the Guinness World Records. Various lights interact with 44 landmark buildings, accompanied by dynamic music and multilingual narration. ItĀ offersĀ a feast for both the ears and eyesĀ to you. The core viewing locations of Victoria Harbour are mainly distributed in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Central, Hong Kong Island, and Wan Chai. The specific informationĀ of MTRĀ is as follows:

  • Kowloon Tsim Sha Tsui Line: Take the Tsuen Wan Line to Tsim Sha Tsui Station (exit E), and walk to Avenue of Stars (5 min). Or Take the Tuen Ma Line to East Tsim Sha Tsui Station (exits P2/L6), and walk to the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade (9 min).
  • Central Route: Take the Island Line/Tsuen Wan Line to Central Station (Exit A), and walk to Central Pier (7 min).
  • Wanchai (Golden Bauhinia Square): Take the Hong Kong Island Line to Wanchai Station, or the East Railway Line to the Convention and Exhibition Station (B2/A1 exit), and walk to Golden Bauhinia Square (10 min).

Get to Victoria Harbor from Airport

  • By MTR: Take the Airport Express from to Qingyi, then transfer to the Tung Chung Line to reach Nanchang Station, finally transfer to the Tunma Line to reach East Tsim Sha Tsui Station (exits P2/L6), and then walk for 8 minutes to reach the Harbor. This journey takes about 1 hour and costs HK$ 83.
  • By Taxi: Taxi is the fastest and most expensive mode of transportationin Hong Kong, taking about 40 minutes and costing around HK$ 200 to 350 at different times.
  • By Bus: Take Citybus Route A21 from the airport, arrive at Middle Roadat Nathan Road station, and then walk for 7 minutes to reach Victoria Harbour. The whole process takes about 1.5 hours and about HK$ 35.

Get Around Victoria Harbor by the Star Ferry

The Star Ferry currently has two routes in total.Ā The ticket price of them is about HK$ 4 to 6.5Ā per person. And the sailing time is approximately 8 to 10 minutes.

The round-trip route between Tsim Sha Tsui and Central lasts about 8-10 minutes. This is the most classic and scenic route.

The second option is a round-trip route between Tsim Sha Tsui and Wan Chai, which facilitates travel to Causeway Bay or the Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Get Around Victoria Harbor by the Double-Decker Sightseeing Bus

Double-decker sightseeing Bus are also an excellent choice for visiting Victoria Harbour. It is different from ordinary bus routes and is a specially designed sightseeing route for tourists to visit Victoria Harbour and surrounding attractions. On the Kowloon side, you can choose the Big Bus blue line. If you are on the north coast of Hong Kong Island, you can choose the red route of Big Bus.
