At present, Diqing Shangri-La Airport is the only airport in Shangri-La City. Shangeri-LaĀ airport transportation provides direct flights, but only from Kunming, Chengdu, Chongqing, Guangzhou, and Lhasa. Passengers from other cities need to transfer in one of these cities to reach Shangri-La. You can choose a suitable flight based on your travel itinerary.
Diqing Shangri-La Airport, located at Shenying Road, Shangri-La City, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, about 11 kilometers from the city center, is easily accessible with a drive of around 30 minutes.
Trains to Shangri-La
Opened on November 26, 2023, Shangri-La Railway StationĀ is situated 4 kilometers southwest of Shangri-La City and 2 kilometers west of Dukezong Ancient City.
