Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xian- Yangxian County by CarCrested Ibis Nature Reserve (Lunch)
AM: Our excellent English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from your Xian downtown hotel in the morning and then transfer you to Yangxian County to visit Crested Ibis Nature Reserve. The crested ibis was once widespread in Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Russia. It has disappeared from most of its former habitats. Now the remaining population is found only in Shaanxi province of China. We will spend half day there and then check in at the local hotel.
Noon: Lunch in a lcoal restaurant.
Accommodation: Bai Yun Hotel (Kind notice: since Yangxian is just a county, the service facilities there are poor and it may not meet your expectation.)
Crested Ibis Nature Reserve in Yangxian County - Day 2: Yangxian County – Foping – Xian by CarGiant Panda Valley (Lunch)
AM: Our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and then escort you to Foping to visit Giant Panda Valley (also called Da Ping Yu before). The panda valley is located at the panda corridor of Qinling Mountain and the Buddha Mountain Nature Reserve and it has abundant resources of rare animals and plants. Here, you can see the first class national protected animals such as the lovely panda and antelope. Giant panda, primeval forest, fantastic mountain and water, and rare wild animals and plants make “the four wonders” of the Foping Giant Panda Valley.
Noon: Lunch in a lcoal restaurant.
After a great time at the panda valley, transfer you back to your hotel in Xian.
