The resting day is free for you to explore the city on your own if energy permits. We recommend wandering along the Houhai Lake area in the late afternoon and perhaps staying longer to experience the lively Beijing nightlife at a lakeside bar.

In the morning, drive for 2 hours to reach the Mutianyu Great Wall, the longest Great Wall section which has a total length of 5400 meters and a vegetation coverage rate of over 98%. Compared to Badaling (more famous among Chinese), it's not so crowded here. In each season, Mutianyu welcomes tourists with its unique scenery. The suggested hiking duration is 2 hours on the winding wall.
To save energy, the cable car is available and you can ask the guide to assist in purchasing tickets on site. We also suggest taking a tobbgan down the Great Wall for more fun.
Friendly notes:
- Children under 10 years old must be accompanied by an adult on the tobbgan.
- It is not recommended for tourists over 60 years old to take the tobbgan.
