Day 1 Xian Arrival (No Meal)
Upon arrival in Xian, our driver will greet you at Xian airport by holding a welcome board with your name. Board the car to Xian downtown hotel to check in. The rest day is free for you.
Day 2 Xian
Attractions: Terracotta Warriors and Horses & Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, City Wall, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast at hotel, meet our local guide at hotel lobby and board the car to visit the No.1 highlight in Xian, Terracotta Warriors. It is praised as “the eighth major miracle of the world”. Before visiting the Warriors Museum, you will pay a short visit to You will have opportunity to buy some mini warriors as souvenirs if you are interested. Then you will start today’s history exploration adventure at the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It’s one of the top ten places of historical interest in China. It was listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1987. Our tour guide will uncover the mysterious mask of this world wonder by showing you the hidden history of their master, Emperor Qin and his dynasty. You will stay about 2.5 hours in the museum. After lunch, drive back to downtown for next stop. On the way, the van will pass by Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum and have a glimpse of it.
Then head to Xian Ancient City Wall. It is not only the unique and intact city wall that has survived in China but also the biggest and most complete military system of defense in the world. Then move to Bell and Drum Tower Square which locates in the very center of the city and is considered as the symbol of this old capital. After the lunch, you will visit Muslim Quarter where you will find many special local products and authentic local snacks. You can enjoy preserved meat, casserole, various noodles, and purcahse some Terracotta Warriors imitation as souvenirs. In the hidden lane of Muslim Quarter, you will visit the Great Mosque, a major spot for religious activities among the Muslims in Xi’an. It possesses much traditional Chinese architectural elements in its design. For example, you will see Chinese pavilions with painted beams and engraved ridgepoles. Finally, come back to your hotel.

Day 3 Xian
Attractions: Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area, Yongxingfang Food Street, Shuyuanmen Cultural Street (Breakfast + Lunch)
After breakfast, you will start your tour today from Small Wild Goose Pagoda Scenic Area. Small Wild Goose Pagoda is the twin of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. Both the two pagodas are important witnesses for the history of Great Tang Dynasty. Same as the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda was also built to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from Ancient India by the master monk Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty. Different from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Small Wild Goose Pagoda attracts visitors with its special charms that it keeps quiet and peaceful in the bustling downtown area, has precious value on architecture and Chinese garden aesthetics. Inside of Small Wild Goose Pagoda, you will pay a visit to Xian Museum to learn about the city’s history and appreciate some exquisite relics unearthed in local area.
Next, head to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was originally built to hold Buddhist sutra and figurines of the Buddha that Xuanzang brought back from India in Tang Dyansty, 652 A.D. Now there is a big square divided into North Square and South Square, surrounding the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. The design of the buidlings and statues is in Tang style, showing people the ever glory of that great time. It’s busier in the evening when many activities with Tang elements held by local amateur. Afterwards, come to Yongxingfang Food Street. The whole street was built in ancient Ming and Qing Dynasty style. Many family-handmade foods which have been lost in big cities can be found here. They cook right in front of you, so you get to see how each food you try was made. Of course, each family has its own secret source or spices you won’t get to know how they make it. The last stop today is Shuyuanmen Ancient Cultural Street where you can find many ancient Chinese stationery, Chinese painting and calligraphy.
Day 4 Xian-Mt. Huashan-Xian
Attractions: Mt Huashan (Breakfast)
After the breakfast, our English-speaking tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 8 am. We will arrive at Mount Huashan after 2 hours’ driving. You will take a shuttle bus to North Cable Car Station and then cable car to the North Peak. Along the way, you will appreciate the amazing scenery on the thrilling cable car ride and listening the interesting introduction about this famous mountain from tour guide. When you get to the North peak, your tour guide will suggest you the detailed route to explore the peaks one by one according to your physical condition and interest, and also appoint a meeting place after your hiking. Then it’s the free time on your own to enjoy the adventure here. On the top of the mountain, there are several spots, such as the Buddhist and Taoist temples, sculptures and engravings. You will enjoy yourself very much on the 4 peaks. You will have a good treat by the fresh air on the Mount Huashan!
Afterwards, please return to North Peak and take the same way down to the mountain by North Peak cable car and shuttle bus. Meet the guide at the appointed place and get back to your hotel together.
We would like to suggest you to prepare some food for the whole climbing. The lunch is on your own because there is no restaurant on mountain top.
Day 5 Xian-Luoyang
Attractions: Longmen Grottoes, Luoyang Museum (Breakfast + Lunch)
Get up early and meet our driver at your hotel lobby around 6:00 to go to Xian North Train Station to catch the high speed train to Luoyang (suggested G2002 08:10/09:49 or a train with similar schedule).
Upon your arrival in Luoyang, Luoyang local guide will greet you at the exit of the railway station. A private car will transfer you to visit the Longmen Grottoes. It is considered as a treasure house of ancient stone-carving art with more than 100,000 stone statues varying from 2 cm to 17.14 m high. Longmen Grottoes extends for about 1,094 yards along both banks of Yi River and about 12 km far away from Luoyang city. It is one of the three most valuable Buddhist Cave and rock carvings in China.
After the lunch, continue to visit Luoyang Museum collects about 400 thousand relics and more than 10 thousand relics are exhibited to public. Luoyang is one of the ancient cities and capital of China in history, which entitled this city splendid history, culture and civilization. At Luoyang Museum, you will learn the culture, history and civilization from those precious relics.

Day 6 Luoyang-Xian Departure
Attractions: White Horse Temple, Shaolin Temple (Breakfast + Lunch)
Meet the guide at your hotel lobby at breakfast and starts your today’s trip. The first stop today is White Horse Temple. Established by Emperor Mingdi in the year 68 AD, it is the first Buddhist temple in China and enjoys the reputation of the No.1 Ancient Temple of China. Following the expert guide, you will learn the historical background of the temple and also its profound influence.
Next, we will move on to visit the Shaolin Temple It is famous not only as one of China’s most important Buddhist temples but also as the center of Chinese Kung Fu. First constructed in 495, the temple was mainly designed to accommodate Batuo, a famous Indian monk. Now Shaolin Temple is reputed as “the Number One Temple Under Heaven” and also listed as UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage in 2010. The temple is the cradle of the Chinese Zen Buddhism and the Shaolin martial arts. The Shaolin martial arts are an important part of the relics. Kung Fu Show here is no doubt a big highlight as the saying goes “All martial arts (Kongfu) are from Shaolin”.
Afrerwards, it’s transfer to train station for high speed train to Xian. When you arrive to Xian North train Station, you will be picked up by the driver and directly escorted to Xian airport for your departure flight. Service ends from here.
