Then you will start the journey with the famous Terracotta Warriors Museum which is known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World”. The museum is located 30 km east of Xian city. The original site was found by four local farmers while drilling a well in 1974. Now it has turned into one of the most influential attractions in China. Next, come to Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in Tang Dynasty 652 A.D. for the purpose of preserving the Buddhist sculptures brought back to Chang’an (old name of Xian) from India by XuanZang. With tour guide’s explanation to its background, you will get a better idea about religious, political and cultural life of that great dynasty. BTW, there is an optional activity for the evening, Tang Dynasty Show and Dumpling Dinner.
