  1. Day 1: Xian Arrival
    Xian airport or train station transfer by car (no meal)

    Upon your arrival in Xian, our local driver will pick you up at Xian airport by holding your name and then transfer you to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal.

  2. Day 2: Xian
    Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Tang Dynasty Show (Lunch + Dinner)

    AM: In the morning, you will visit Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses. Known as “the Eighth Wonder of the World” and one of the most significant archaeological discoveries in the 20th century, the museum shows a surprisingly high level in sculpture.

    Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

    PM: After lunch, we will drive back to downtown city to visit Xian Ancient City Wall, the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for military defense in the ancient time. You can optionally ride a bike on the top of the City Wall to see the city from a unique angle. Then you will pay a visit to Yongxingfang Food Culture Square. In this old Chinese architectural style food square, you will find many famous local food brands.

    Evening: In the evening, Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty show will be waiting for you. It’s a good chance to enjoy a spectacular music and dance show and taste delicious dumplings with different fillings.

    After the show, your guide and driver will escort you back to hotel.

  3. Day 3: Xian
    Shaanxi History Museum, Xian Ancient City Wall (Lunch)

    AM: After breakfast, you will head to Shaanxi History Museum which displays the longest history of China. It possesses a huge collection of cultural relics, ranking 6 among all museums in the country.

    Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

    PM: Then visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda which is a place to worship Buddha. The pagoda was originally built to hold the sutras and Buddha statues that Xuanzang brought back to China from India. Now there is a big garden around the pagoda where people can have a nice walk. Next, we will move on to Small Wild Goose Pagoda which was also built in Tang Dynasty for the monks to translate the Buddhist scriptures. It shares the same fame with Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Chinese Buddhism. You will also visit Xian Museum to appreciate some delicate relics with thousands of years of history. Then stroll around Bell and Drum Tower Square to admire the Bell Tower and Drum Tower from a distance. At last, you will take a walk in the Muslim Quarter, the best known food street in Xian. You can optionally try some local snacks and specialties. It will be a good chance to record the local food with your camera.

    After a great time in the bustling street, return to your hotel.

  4. Day 4: Xian Departure
    Yangling Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty (No meal)

    In the morning, the guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and lead you to Yangling Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty. The mausoleum is shared by Jingdi, the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty, and his empress, but they have their own graves. In the excavated satellite burial corridors you will see many mortuary objects.

    At the end of the tour, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to next destination. Wish you a pleasant journey!
