  1. Day 1: Xian Arrival (No meal)

    Upon your arrival in Xian, our local driver will greet you at Xian airport by holding a welcome board with your name and then transfer you to your downtown hotel.

    The rest of the day is at your disposal.

  2. Day 2: Xian
    Shaanxi History Museum, Small Wild Goose Pagoda ( Lunch)

    AM: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby in the morning. Then drive to visit Shaanxi History Museum. The entire building possesses the architectural features of the Tang Dynasty. It houses numerous cultural relics of Shaanxi Province and shows the development of Chinese civilization.

    Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

    PM: Afterwards, we will head to the famous Big Wild Goose Pagoda which was built in Tang Dynasty with about 1300 years’ history. This project was presided over by monk Xuanzang to store the priceless Buddhist sculptures brought back from ancient India by him. Then visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and Xian Museum to take a walk in the beautiful garden and appreciate some delicate relics.

    After the whole day’s tour, we will drive back to your hotel

  3. Day 3: Xian
    Terracotta Warriors and Horses, Xian City Wall, Bell and Drum Tower Square, Muslim Quarter (Lunch)

    AM: In the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and then head to the most famous and must-see site Terracotta Warriors Museum. Famed as the eighth miracle of the world, the marvelous terracotta warriors in the 3 giant pits show a surprisingly high level in craftsmanship. More than 6600 warriors with different facial expressions testified the greatest intelligence of the craftsmen in the Qin Dynasty. The 3-D circular-screen movie will let you deeply know the historical Qin Dynasty while enjoying the mysterious and splendid clay army.

    Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

    PM: After a Chinese style lunch, we will drive to visit Xian Ancient City Wall, the most completely preserved and the largest city wall in China. It was built for military defense in the ancient time. You can optionally ride a bike on the top of the City Wall to see the city from a unique angle. Next, you will take a walk on Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square to admire the Bell Tower and Drum Tower from a distance. Then visit the most famous food street – Muslim Quarter. At last, you will be escorted back to hotel.

  4. Day 4: Xian-Yuanjiacun-Xian by Car
    Yuanjiacun Culture Village (No meal)

    AM: After your breakfast, meet our guide at the hotel lobby to start a folk culture & local food tour. We will drive about 1.5 hours to Yuajiacun Village which is free of charge. You will have chance to watch Qin Opera Show, taste authentic local food, and try milling flour, making vinegar, waving cloth, and grinding soybean to make Tofu (Bean Curd). That surely will be an interesting and much more impressive experience. There are lots of local eateries in the village. Our guide will recommend some best ones when wandering in street.

    Noon: We will not arrange lunch in fixed restaurant. We will leave lunch on your own so you could try as many kinds of local food as you like.

    PM: In the afternoon, you will have some free time to explore the village and take some pictures. Afterwards, meet your guide and driver and drive back to your hotel in Xian.

  5. Day 5: Xian-Huxian County-Xian by Car
    Huxian Peasant painting, Local Primary School (Lunch)

    AM: Today we will visit the hometown of peasant painting in China. In the morning, we will drive for about 1 hour from your hotel to a village in Huxian to pay a visit to local peasant family and appreciate Peasant Paintings there. After that, a local peasant will give a lesson on paper cutting and you will do your own paper cutting.

    Noon: Lunch at a peasant home.

    PM: We will arrange a visit to local primary school to see the current situation of primary school in village and talk with pupils there.

    At last, we will drive back to Xian.

  6. Day 6: Xian Departure

    Our local driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport according to your flight schedule.
