2012 China International Travel Fair Unveils Multiple Activities　

2012 China International Travel Fair is being held in Shanghai New International Expo Center from Nov 15 to Nov 18. The first two days are for professional symposium, and the last two days are the “Open House” days.The fair committee organized several splendid shows in the Expo Center. During the fair, a series of activities will be launched to enrich the content and promote international exchanges and cooperation in tourism.

The first one is 2012 China International Travel Fair Opening Ceremony and Reception, which was held in the evening on Nov 14 in Shanghai International Conference Center. Leaders from National Tourism Administration, Shanghai Municipal government and other provinces and cities, together with distinguished guests from other countries and regions presented in the ceremony.

The second one is China’s International Tourist Brand Seminar. The seminar was hosted by CNTA and CCTV. Many experts and scholars in tourism, communications and marketing were invited on the seminar to discuss the brand-building and marketing strategies.

The third one is Products Promotion Conference of Middle and Eastern Euro Countries. The 2012 China International Tourism Fair has invited 15Middle and Eastern countries in the participation, among which two are ministers from Czech and Macedonia, 6 VIP group of vice minister ranking from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Czech.

The fourth is big events. During the fair, the mainland-based Cross-Strait Tourism Exchange Association (CETA) opened its first office in Shanghai Gran Meliá Hotel. In addition, promotion conferences of provinces like Fuijan and Jiangsu etc, and major tourist enterprises such as CITS principle office will be held.
