The Comprehensive Assessment of 2012 China’s Leisure City Announced

The comprehensive assessment result of 2012 China’s leisure city development has been announced on Oct 31, and Qingdao, Hangzhou and Chengdu won the prize of the best leisure cities, according to Xinhua.

The activity was hosted by the Brunch Leisure Vacation of China National Travel Association. It is based on the published national standard system of leisure city, public evaluation online and expert assessment, carrying the assessment with the principle of fairness, justness and openness and totally covered 302 cities across the whole country. So far the activity has been held for three consecutive years.

The assessment report compromised four part, including the 2012 leisure index of Chines cities, the best leisure cities in 2012, the unique leisure cities in 2012 and the four small leisure towns in 2012. Qingdao, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Yantai, Ningbo, Qinghuangdao, Xiamen, Huangshan, Lijiang and Wuhu won the best leisure cities. And followed by the unique leisure cities: hospitable Yantai, livable Quzhou, fashionable Shanghai, cultural Beijing, garden Suzhou, folk-art Liuzhou, healthy Ningjing, romantic Sanya, costal Tianjin and landscape Chizhou.
