The Lishan Mountain
The Lishan Mountain is a branch of the Qinling Mountain Ranges. Rising more than 1,300 meters above sea level it towers high on the eastern part of the Guanzhong Plain. If you take a loook at it from down below, the mountain, fully grown with green pines and junipers, looks very much like a dark-green steed. The character ” Li” here means the black horse in Chinese, hence the name of the mountain” Lishan. ” Lishan is a famous scenic spot published by the state among the first batch of scenic attractions of national importance. The places of interest around the area include:
1. The Mausoleum of the First Emperor of the Qin Dynasty and the Museum of the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
2. The Huaqing Palace of tile Tang Dynasty, the ~in of the “Imperial Consort Bathing Pool” and the imitated-Tang buildings by the side of the ruins.
