Winter – early spring, specifically November – April, is considered the best time to visit Shenzhen. The temperature of Shenzhen during this period is moderate with an average temperature of 15 – 20 ℃. And the rainfall is less than other seasons. So tourists can both visit indoor attractions and experience outdoor activities. A useful tip from our guide is the lowest temperature in winter is between the end of January and February. It is recommended to wear a sweater and a thick coat.
June – September is the period not recommended for tourists. Because April – September is the rainy season. The frequent heavy rainfall and thunderstorms in June and July and typhoons in August and September may interrupt your plan. Besides, it is also the hottest period in Shenzhen. Overall, you need to pay more attention to the changes of weather in Shenzhen and prepare more indoor activities as alternative plans.
