AMAZING EXPERIENCE I travelled with Xian Tour and had the pleasure of dealing specifically with Lena, who was absolutely fantastic: extremely welcoming, helpful and always present throughout the entire organisation of the trip.

And I’m not just talking about the travel arrangements. She also helped me with all the visas, practical necessities, advice about money and health recommendations to make sure I could travel safely and with peace of mind. She also helped me extend my trip to include Nepal in addition to Tibet, and that part of the journey was organised brilliantly as well.

I had an amazing experience from start to finish, with absolutely no problems of any kind. It was a truly wonderful trip. Honestly, my only regret is that my time in Tibet lasted just one week, because Tibet deserves much more time.

Amazing. Max was extremely easy to coordinate with. My mother and i are very grateful for all your help and facilitation. From first contact + reaching out to hashing out all the details, everybody was extremely prompt with their replies and adjusting the schedule was made very easy by the team. Annie, our tour guide for the Terracotta Army, was very informative, patient and warm with us. Her welcoming nature made us both feel very at ease and safe. Summer was equally the same. My mother and i were extremely satisfied by their professionalism and help in choosing sites that we were quite unfamiliar with. From being our guide to helping us book tickets for various sites and trains, everything was facilitated by the team.

Xian Private Tour from Beijing Xian is home to the legendary Terracotta Army, Ming Dynasty City Wall, and the beginning point of the Silk Road. I took a train from Beijing to Xian and the scenery is also worth seeing. It feels like a compact Beijing vibe with slightly less of the Beijing hustle and bustle. There is definitely a lot to see so do wear comfortable shoes. But to immerse yourself into the history and culture, you need a tour guide that is very knowledgeable and loves what they do. I had Sasha for this tour and she was hands down ..exceptional!!!! Very down to earth and makes you feel like family. She answered all my questions and she was able to break it down to my level of understanding. Its like history class again, but a lot more fun. I highly recommend Sasha for your tour guide, because I'll be coming back again!!!

****The train from Beijing to Xian worried me, but everything is set in place. Instructions are easy to follow I promise!!!

Marvelous Xinjiang Trip We(2 couples from Oz) had a fantastic 22 Day trip of North and South Xinjiang in August, all organised through the China Xi'an Tour company. We dealt with Sophia of China Xi'an Tour company. She tailored the trip to my requests and added suggested spots that I hadn't known about. Her responses were prompt and professional.
The 2 English speaking guides, that were provided(1 for the north and the other for the south) were both local residents of Xinjiang and they were excellent with the information they provided and had local knowledge of eateries we went to. The driver, Wang sifu, was a very helpful, cheerful and a careful driver. In China, drivers are addressed by their surname, and followed by "sifu", it's a respectful way of addressing drivers, and has no martial arts connotations.
Both guides( Karim of Kashgar and Amy of Urumqi) spoke English well and they both bought us, local foods/fruits to experience. The local Hami rock melons were juicy, crunchy and sweet, and the local bread, the naan, fresh from the oven, full of goodness. Eating out in Xinjiang is very affordable especially, when our Aussie dollar get 4.75 renminbi to the A$. Meals were 2-3 thousand years of recorded history. The Silk Road carried both material goods as well as great human thoughts and ideation. The flow was bi-directional. Visiting many of the old ruins and sites, evoked very strong emotions and we marvelled at mankind's ingenuity. The flow of religions along the Silk Road was amply demonstrated at many of the sites visited.
We felt safe in Xinjiang and there is no overt display of religiosity.
With regard to the China Xian Tour company, we have booked a 2nd trip for 19 days of Ancient China Silk Road or mid October, this too was organised through Sophia.

Fantastic Tour with an Excellent Guide! We had a wonderful day exploring Xi’an with our tour guide, Jiajia. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and well-prepared. Her explanations were clear and engaging, and she clearly knew the city and its history inside and out.

She also chose a fantastic restaurant for lunch, and the food was delicious. What impressed us most was how well she engaged our children—they thoroughly enjoyed the tour and stayed interested throughout the entire day!

Jiajia truly made our experience special, and we would highly recommend her and this tour to anyone visiting Xi’an. A fantastic guide and a memorable experience!

Ultimate China What an experience. China did herself proud. An amazing place and amazing people. So friendly and helpful. Great hotels.
Our guide was Britany who would be the best guide we have ever had on our many travels. She spoke perfect and clear English and was always available to help. She helped us get through air ports and railway stations, shopping, and banks. One sick person she took to the doctors and then the hospital and stayed with him.
She was incredibly knowledgable and very well organised. Her timing helped us to visit many places before the crowds arrived.
I would thoroughly recommend this tour as it covered a large section of China and included places in Tibet.

Wonders of Xi'an I spent a glorious few days in Xian this summer, and China Xian Tours was exceptional. Sheron, the agent who worked directly with me, was polite, approachable, and professional. She made sure I was kept up to date about tour times, meet up locations, and all the logistics of my multi-day tour around the city.

Noble was my tour guide, and Liu Jun was our driver. Noble made sure that I saw everything that I wanted to (I happen to be interested in far off Taoist temples and Buddhist shrines), and he was very knowledgeable about Chinese culture and history. Liu Jun was an exceptional driver, seamlessly navigating the chaotic Xian streets with ease and efficiency.

I highly recommend this company, and am already plotting my next excursion with them.

Excellent 10 days Private English Tour in China We had a great 10 day trip that Sophia helped us organized. Our trip started in Beijing with our guide Lily, where we spent 3 days visiting the Forbidden City, to the Great Wall, and the National Museum. We then took the high speed train to Xi'an, where we spent 3 days with Chris that walked us through the Terracotta Warriors and Muslim Quarters. We then flew to Shanghai where we met with Elena that took us to watertown, Shanghai museum, and the Bund. All the guides spoke English very well and was very knowledgeable about China's history and stories. They were super efficient in navigating through all the sites. We hardly waited in any lines which made it great for our family. We had a great time with our guides.

The car provided was super comfortable for our family and the drivers in each city was amazing. They knew exactly how to navigate through the chaos and our family felt safe throughout the trip.

7 Days Muslim Private Tour Yunnan Private 7 Days Muslim Tour covered Kunming, Dali, ShangriLa & Lijiang. We had a wonderful time, having the best Tour Guides in Yunnan that can speak English very well and they came from a different ethnic too!

Halal food is not an issue as it can be found mostly at the tourists centre and ofcourse at the Masjid @ Mosque area too. The delicious beef & Yak meat cooked nicely and overall the meal is not pricey at all.
The Muslim Tour Guide, Mr.Ibrahim Ma has showed us the masjid in the village and in Kunming city as well.

We were also amazed by the Stone Forest, Bend of the Yangtze River, Tiger Leaping Gorge, Naphai Lake, and the spectacular Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Ofcourse other places are quite interesting especially the old city and villages where my kids had a chance to rent Costumes of a different ethnic.

Overall, we enjoyed very much this Tour although some places need a long walk as we are in our 60s but honestly, the planning to go up to ShangriLa then coming down to Lijiang was a good idea as we explored a lot of new adventures.
