Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xi’an arrival & Xi’an evening tourBell Tower & Drum Tower Square, Muslim Quarter & Music Fountain Show
Please make your way to Xi'an airport (please arrive between 11 am - 1 pm). When you arrive at Xi'an airport, the local tour guide and driver will pick you up from the exit gate by holding a welcome board with your name. Drive around an hour to Xi'an downtown hotel for a short rest. Then embark on a Xi’an nightlife trip.
Xian Bell Tower Enjoy a leisure night sightseeing around the Bell Tower & Drum Tower Square. Meet various Xi’an local food on the famous Muslim Quarter.
Muslim Street Drive around 25 minutes to the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda to enjoy the famous Music Fountain Show which is the largest in Asia. Immerse yourself in the night scene around the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City where the dazzling light show and street performances full of Tang stylistic elements are held.
It is like traveling back to the ancient times when you are in the Tang Dynasty costume and walk among many Tang Dynasty-styled architectures and sculptures telling Tang stories.

- Day 2: Day 2: Terracotta Army - Big Wild Goose Pagoda - Ancient City WallTerracotta Warriors and Horses, Big Wild Goose Pagoda & Ancient City Wall
After breakfast, drive an hour to Terracotta Warriors and Horses which is the highlight of every Xi’an trip. As one of the top ten precious ancient tombs, here you can marvel at more than 8000 life-sized sculptures of the ancient army, including both gray-haired veterans and young soldiers, with multiple poses and individualized facial features. You can spend 2.5-3 hours there.
After lunch, transfer back to downtown and pay a visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. One of the most notable pagodas in China, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was built in 652 for storing the Buddhist Scriptures which were taken back from India by Master Xuanzang. Till today the pagoda has been standing here for over 1,350 years.
Come to the Ancient City Wall which is the best-preserved and the largest city wall in China. It is known as the boundary of the ancient city center and modern Xi’an. You can cycle or wander atop the wall and view the time-honored shops and buildings inside, high-rises outside, and the breathtaking moat surrounding the ancient walls. (Bike rental on the wall is optional for you.)

- Day 3: Xi’an Museum - Yuanjiacun Village - Xi'an DepartureXi’an Museum & Yuanjiacun Village
Start today with a visit to Xi’an Museum which is known for combining relic exhibition hall, historical sites, and garden landscapes. The onsite Small Wild Goose Pagoda has witnessed centuries of history. The massive collection of archaeological pieces, jade ornaments, calligraphy, and Buddhist art in the neighboring exhibition hall will bring you back to the ancient glorious history.
Exhibits in Xian Museum Then, drive around 1 hour to Yuanjiacun Village, a popular food and folk culture destination in the Guanzhong area. It is fun to experience local folk culture and activities while sampling authentic Guanzhong food and snacks. You will also meet rural architectures in the 70s age style of the Guanzhong area.
At end of the visit, transfer to Xi'an airport for your departure flight. ( Please book a flight that departs after 6 pm to ensure no rush during the tour). Your 3-day Xian history tour with Tang costume experience ends here.
