Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Xuanzang In the afternoon, return to the city to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, another UNESCO-listed site. Built during the Tang Dynasty, the seven-story pagoda once housed Buddhist scriptures and statues brought back from India.
