Flawless 16-Day China Discovery Tour – Incredible Experience with China Xian Tour! Our group of six recently returned from an unforgettable 16-day private "China Discovery Tour" organized by China Xian Tour .
Our journey took us from the ancient history of Xian to the breathtaking landscapes of the Silk Road—including Zhangye, Jiayuguan, Dunhuang, Turpan, and Urumqi—and onwards to the stunning sights of Chengdu, Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Zhangjiajie, and Shanghai.
Covering such a vast and spectacular route took a lot of careful planning.
Looking back, we are so grateful for the exceptional guidance and support we received from our travel consultant, Ms. Grace Chen.
She provided thoughtful advice and careful attention to our specific requests, making the entire preparation seamless and giving us complete confidence leading up to the trip.
Furthermore, Grace's daily follow-ups throughout the journey itself were a true highlight. Knowing she was actively monitoring our itinerary every single day gave us immense peace of mind and allow us to fully enjoyed our experience in China.

Our 12-seater vans were always spotlessly clean, comfortably air-conditioned, and well-stocked with water, ensuring we could relax completely between destinations.
We also appreciated that our itinerary was strictly focused on pure exploration and sightseeing without any mandatory shopping stops. This allowed us to dedicate 100% of our time to fully enjoy China's spectacular history, breathtaking natural wonders, and all the amazing UNESCO sites at our own pace.

21 days Private Tour with China Xian Tours My son (24 yo) and I were scheduled to do a whirlwind 21 day tour of many parts of China. My son bailed on me five days before departure. His loss. It was a fabulous trip solo.

Kelly at China Xian Tours did an awesome job putting my trip together. I told her what I wanted to see and she made it work.

Hotels were perfect. All 4 stars, sparkling clean and good service.

Guides were a mix. Some spoke English very well others not as good. Pronunciation of their English was hard to understand at times. However, they’re all polite, kind, respectful, friendly and accommodating. I’d recommend requesting best English speakers. In China they can only use Chinese locals as guides. So be aware.

Car and driver were fine throughout. Make sure if you’re a non-smoker to request non-smoking driver and guide. It makes a difference when you enter the car. Most cars were petrol or electric. Very smooth rides.

I visited Beijing for 2 days, and then Zhangye, Zhangjiajie, Guilin, Yangshuo, Fenghuang, Leishan, Xijiang, Zhenyuan, Libo, Longji Rice Terraces, Fanjing Mountain, Furongzhen, Tianmenshan National Park and many other scenic spots.

The trip was outrageous. I ended it with two days in Hong Kong.

This was my nineth trip to China and I highly recommend Kelly and China Xian Tour for a private service that is truly private.

Xi'an and Luoyang Trip We booked our tour plans with Maxie from China Xian Tour. We booked our own hotels and flights but the rest, she took care of it from airport transfers to tourist attractions which we wanted to customize. She was super helpful very responsive even to my last minute messages! We super appreciate the help and assistance throughout the trip. We enjoyed our trip and wasn't too stressful or too chaotic even if there were quite a few people in the tourist spots.

The drivers in Xi'an and Luoyang were very good and efficient and drove safely. Both tour guides were good but the tourist guide in Luoyang was more informative and knowledgeable. The show we watched was very nice also but the dumpling meal was not good. The tour in Luoyang was very impressive with the Longmen Grotto, Shaolin Temple and Longtan Grand Canyon.

The only thing we would change would probably be if we could have requested car transfers that have less to no cigarette smell. We were all adults for this trip but for future trips with smaller kids, we'd probably request this.

We will definitely recommend them to our friends for future bookings around China.

Private Yunnan tour We were two first time ladies to China. Engaged their services for a week. As we speak minimal chinese, it has been truly an amazing experience with the guides and drivers. From the moment we landed in Kunming, it was smooth and enjoyable. Guides were all very accommodating to our Muslim diet. They were very considerate and ensured our meals were ordered before they went for their meals. Brought us to tourists attractions and gave us local tips and even brought us to less crowded areas.

Drivers were awesome as well. Ensured we reach our destinations safely, making each ride comfortable. They were always one step ahead of us ensuring we had everything we need before departure. And all of the staff were always punctual or early. Amazing!

Really enjoyed our trip and hope to return again one day.

7 Day Yunnan Hani Rice Terraces Tour: Reliable company, book with confidence - and see a China few others see. Great trip of 7 days in Yunnan with a top notch guide. First though - you can trust the company and do expect to pay with PayPal upfront and do so with confidence. Second we used the same company for one day guide in Luoyang - and they were almost the same price as what the local hotel said it would cost if they arranged the guide - so the costs are reasonable, this is what it costs (and the guide was good). On to the trip - our guide had grown up in a family farming rice terraces in her part of Yunnan - you could not have a better fit and she took us off the scenic outlooks and down into the terraces to talk to farmers (and try out some things) and talk with women on break from the fields and take us through the market and chat with vendors (those who spoke Mandarin). Don’t go for the photos - go for the experience and insight into a way of life. Also your hotel, your meals (noodles for breakfast) everything will be local and that is the point of going - not a cruise ship with day trips but an immersion with local insight that makes it all worthwhile.

Our tour manager, Ms Nancy Liu, was responsive, communicated clearly in English, and was very accommodating to our needs. She kept in touch throughout both the planning and the trip, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. We truly appreciated her professionalism and support.

We also had an excellent Tour Leader, Mr. Noble Liu, and a very experienced driver, Mr. Li. We thank Xi’an Tour Agency for assigning both of them to us.

Mr. Noble Liu speaks excellent English, and we were very impressed with his professionalism and his depth of knowledge. We, however requested that he conducts the tour in Mandarin, as we felt this would allow for a richer appreciation of China’s history. He was very knowledgeable in China’s history and his insightful explanations gave us a deeper appreciation of the places we visited.

Noble also went above and beyond his duties by accompanying some of us on a hike up HuaShan. Despite the cold and snowy conditions, he braved the elements to accompany us just to ensure our safety at all times. We truly appreciate his kindness and dedication.

Mr. Li was a highly experienced driver and very punctual in his timekeeping. He was also very helpful and took great care when handling our luggage, ensuring that loading and unloading were always done safely and efficiently.

Great service from start to finish! Booked directly and was dealing with Sheron, from the very beginning she was fantastic and able to tailor the tour to the certain cites that we wanted to see. From the time of booking and closer to the time of the trip, she had provided us with a WhatsApp and WeChat contact number so we could ask any questions during that time period - even payment to them was nice and easy. Once on the trip, our guide Summer was amazing, she was able to tell us all of the stories and history of Xi’an and even slowed some parts of the tour time to accommodate my elderly parents. Because we were on a small tour of just the 4 of us, they really made it a personable experience. All admission fees were included in the package as well as the driver we had, who once again, was very lovely and recommended good spots to eat out close to our hotel!
