Essential Tibet Travel Tips
- Three days to a week before entering Tibet, you may consider taking anti-high-altitude reflex medication.
- If you want to travel to Tibet by train, please buy train tickets in advance.
- Considering that summer temperatures in Tibet often range from 8 to 20 degrees, and winter temperatures from -18 to 5 degrees, you should always pack an outerwear or down jacket for your trip to Tibet.
General China travel tips
- Add family-friendly activities such as the Great Wall Toboggan, Yangshuo countryside biking, and Chinese calligraphy lesson in your trip to keep the kids entertained.
- Be aware that some of the street foods may not be fresh, so don't eat it if your child has a weak stomach.
- Research a little for destinations and attractions that are more accessible If you travel with the elderly.
- Despite that the younger generation speaks some English, most Chinese don’t speak a foreign language, so make sure you have a local guide speaking in your language.
