Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Xian ArrivalExplore Xi'an's Historical Relics and World Heritage Site
Upon your arrival in Xian, our tour guide will greet you at Xian airport by holding a welcome board "China Xian Tour" and escort you to downtown Xian in a comfortable van.
After lunch, take a guided Xian tour at the Xiāan Museum Scenic Area, which is mainly composed of the museum and theĀ Small Wild Goose Pagoda. The museum has an exhibition area of over 5,000 square meters and displays 130,000 cultural relics from various historical periods in Xiāan, such as Buddhist stone carvings, jade artifacts, bronze ware, calligraphy and painting, etc.
Next, move to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a well-preserved ancient building and a holy place for Buddhists. It was built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). If youāre interested, you can experience trying on Hanfu clothing, traditional attire from the Tang Dynasty.
Big Wild Goose Pagoda At last, the guide and driver will send you to the hotel or you can freely explore the city by yourself.

- Day 2: Xian Terracotta Army TourVisit the Must-see Attractions in Xian and Taste the Local Snacks
After breakfast, our tour guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel. Today's tour in Xian will begin with the most famous attraction Terracotta Warriors and Horses. Known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World", it is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring life-sized warriors, and many horses and chariots. Your guide will lead you to visit the Pits 1, 2 and 3 of the Terracotta Army for 2-2.5 hours and explain the stories behind them to you. The No.1 Pit is the largest where you can see more than 6,000 life size warriors. Surprisingly, all clay figures have unique facial expressions. There are also chariots, horses, bronze swords, halberds and other artifacts unearthed here.
Terracotta Warriors and Horses in Xian After lunch, we will go back downtown and visit the Ancient City Wall, the best-preserved and largest city wall in China. It was built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) for military defense. It provides invaluable materials for the research of the history and architecture of that period. You can optionally ride a bike on the top of the City Wall to see the city from a unique angle. Then, we will head to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower Square. Nestled at the heart of Xi'an, China, the Bell Tower is the symbol of the city.
Today's tour of Xian will end at the nearby Muslim Quarter, a paradise for food lovers. Here, you can wander through narrow alleys and find many kinds of delicious local snacks such as Biang Biang Noodle, Roujiamo (Chinese Hamburger), Liangpi (Cold Skin Noodles) and Yangrou Paomo (Mutton and Bread Pieces in Soup).

Our customers ride on the City Wall in February 2023 - Day 3: Xian to Mt. Huashan Tour by CarEnjoy a Huashan Mountain Hike with the Cable Car Rides
In the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby. After about 2 hours of driving, we will arrive at Mount Huashan.
First, we will take a cable car up the North Peak where you will start your hiking. The guide will leave you to freely explore the mountain. On the top of the mountain, there are several spots such as Taoist temples, sculptures, and engravings. You will enjoy yourself so much on the 4 peaks. After you reach the Gold Lock Pass, you can buy a golden lock and lock it on the iron chains. Visitors usually do this to pray for safety and health. It must be marvelous scenery with thousands of golden locks on the iron chains. On the Middle Peak (Jade Maiden Peak), you can immerse yourself in its supernatural atmosphere. It must be fantastic to watch the sunset with your own eyes if you are lucky.
Then you will move on to the East Peak, the South Peak, and the West Peak. You can breathe the fresh air on the Mount Huashan! Our tour guide will meet you at the North Peak and take the cable car to the foot of the mountain together.
Huashan Mountain The lunch will be on your own since there is no restaurant on the mountain top. We would like to suggest you prepare some food and bottled water for the whole climb.
Enjoy your free time on the mountain top. At about 5:00 PM, the driver will wait for you at the exit of the mountain and transfer you back to your hotel.

- Day 4: Xian DepartureUnderstand the Burial Rituals of the Han Dynasty
Today is the last day of your 4-day Xian tour. Your tour guide and driver will lead you to the Yangling Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty, a tomb where Emperor Jing and Empress Wang of the Western Han Dynasty were buried together. It was first built in 153 BC and completed in 126 BC. This is the most well preserved Han dynasty imperial mausoleum discovered so far.
You will be led to explore underground tombs. The figurines unearthed here are only one third the size of real people, about 60 cm high (much smaller than those unearthed in the Terracotta Warriors), naked and without arms. According to research, these warriorsĀ were dressed in beautiful costumes and had wooden arms when they were just completed. But after a thousand years, the clothes and wooden arms have decayed. YourĀ guide will explain more about ancient funeral rituals to you.
Hanyang Mausoleum At the end of this 4-day classic Xian tour with Huashan Mountain, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to your next destination. Wish you a pleasant journey!
