Welcome to Chaozhou, the gateway city in the eastern part of Guangdong Province. After arriving in Chaozhou, a local guide and driver will pick you up and start your journey with Chaozhou Kung Fu Tea.
Kung Fu tea is a unique traditional tea drinking custom in the Chaoshan region. You can witness the process of preparing tea, learn about Chinese tea ceremony, and taste its subtle flavors. Afterwards, we will take you to experience Chaozhou Opera, a traditional Chinese drama with distinct Lingnan cultural characteristics. The beautiful melodies, graceful movements, and intricate costumes will take you to a different era.
Chaozhou Kung Fu Tea After these cultural experiences, take a leisurely stroll along Memorial Arches Street. Its name comes from 22 existing memorial arches, which are arranged along the main street, with shops selling various products in the middle, such as wood carvings, porcelain and local snacks: beef balls, Chinese tea.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chaozhou Ancient Town. Known for its unique Chaoshan culture, rich historical relics, and exquisite ancient architectural complexes, Chaozhou Ancient Town has a history of over 1600 years. Your tour guide will introduce you to the stories behind each attraction.
Go to visit Guangji Bridge, one of the four ancient bridges in China. It was a transportation hub from ancient Guangdong to Fujian and Zhejiang. Undoubtedly, this is a historical landmark of Chaozhou culture. You will be amazed that this architectural miracle has withstood the test of time. Next, let's admire the Guangji Gate Tower, which is the best preserved ancient building in the urban area of Chaozhou. It is a palace style building with vermilion windows, appearing quite majestic and spectacular.
Guangji Gate Tower Afterwards, explore Kaiyuan Temple, which covers an area of 11,031 square meters. This place is spacious, with solemn statues and many cultural relics, known as the "first ancient temple in eastern Guangdong". Your Chaozhou tour continues to Xu Mansion Hall, a complex designed residence showcasing the luxurious lifestyle of the past. The tour guide will take you to discover the stories of its residents.

After a hearty breakfast, drive for about 1.5 hours to ShantouĀ city. ShantouĀ is an important port in China, known as the "Pearl of the South China Sea". After arrival, the tour guide will take you to visit the Shantou Old Town. The cobblestone streets and well preserved buildings there make you feel as if you have traveled back in time.
Shantou Old Town Stroll through the peaceful Small Park, surrounded by lush city landscapes. Next, pay a visit toĀ Tianhou Palace, a temple with ancient architecture and folk crafts. You can appreciate the brightly colored sculptures on the eaves. Afterwards, take a guided tour of the Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition HallĀ where you canĀ glimpse Shantou's cultural heritage through interactive exhibitions and traditional crafts.
