- Day 1: Sanya Arrival
Welcome to Sanya! Upon arrival in Sanya, your tour guide will pick you up and take you to your hotel by private vehicle. After check-in, enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.
Recommended Activity: Explore Sanya First Market, one of the city’s most popular local markets, mainly selling seafood, fresh fruits, vegetables, and specialties. In the evening, the surrounding streets come alive with snack stalls and restaurants. Taste some Hainan snacks, such as Hainan rice noodles, Qing Bu Liang (a refreshing coconut milk dessert) and coconut rice.

Start your day with a visit to Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area, about an hour’s drive from the city center. This large park is themed on Buddhist culture and offers scenic views of the South China Sea.
Admire the 108-meter-tall Guanyin Statue standing offshore, one of Sanya's most iconic landmarks. Its unique design featuring three integrated representations of Guanyin creates a striking visual impression. Your guide will explain the symbolic significance of Guanyin in Buddhist culture.
Continue to Nanshan Temple, a Tang-dynasty-style temple nestled against the mountains and facing the sea. Integrating traditional Buddhist architecture with tropical gardens, it allows you to explore Buddhist culture while enjoying views of the South China Sea.
Tang-dynasty-style Nanshan Temple inside the Nanshan Cultural Tourism Area Drive to West Island Pier and then board a boat to the island. Stroll through the fishing village, wander along old lanes, and discover coral stone houses that reflect the island’s local heritage. Take a leisurely walk along the coastline to enjoy the clear turquoise waters and the tropical island scenery.
If time and weather permit, you can join optional water activities at your own expense, such as snorkeling, diving or sea fishing. After the exploration, take a boat back to the pier where your driver will be waiting to escort you back to your hotel.
Learn basic surfing skills before going into the water in Sanya Tips: If you are prone to seasickness, consider preparing seasickness medicine in advance and take sun protection measures. The water activities are subject to the available time, weather condition and operational status on the day.
- Day 3: Sanya Departure
At the scheduled time, your driver will meet you at the hotel and transfer you to the airport for the departure flight.
If your flight departs later, you can visit Sanya International Duty-Free City. The shopping complex features a wide selection of international brands, including beauty products, fragrances, jewelry and clothing, making it an ideal stop for last-minute shopping before leaving Hainan.
