Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Fuzhou, Drive to Xiapu
   Explore the Charming Mudflat Landscape and Rich Fishing Culture

   Welcome to Fuzhou. Upon your arrival, your driver will pick you up and then drive you to Xiapu for check-in, which is rich in natural resources and deep history and culture.

   In the afternoon, start the Xiapu tour of Fijian from Xiaohao Village, famous for its unique mudflat scenery and abundant seafood resources. The tide here takes the shape of “S”, forming a beautiful landscape with the mudflat. You can participate in combing to experience the life of fishermen. Capture the stunning sunsets and admire the golden beaches shining in the sunlight. In addition, have dinner at a local restaurant, tasting fresh seafood like oysters, crabs, and clams.

   

   In the evening, return to your hotel for a rest.

2. Day 2: Xiapu Exploration
   Immerse in the Serene Nature and Capture the Vibrant Mudflat Sunsets

   After breakfast, continue the tour of Xiapu. The first stop is Weijiang Village, a small village surrounded by mountains and the sea. Witness the fishermen’ s morning routine, birds soaring, and vibrant clouds reflecting on the water. From March to April every year, you can also see a variety of seafood harvests scenes.

   Then move to the historic Shajiang. The famous attraction here is “S bend”, which is an excellent place to take pictures. Fishing boats sail through this S-shaped waterway, forming a graceful landscape.

   

   Later explore Dongbi Village, known for its seaweed farms and distinctive seaweed houses. Stand on the Dongbi Bridge to overlook the picturesque scenery of the mudflat and the sea. Also enjoy magnificent sunsets here, taking pictures of the sparking water and golden beaches.

   After visiting, drive to your hotel.

3. Day 3: Xiapu Highlights
   Experience the Unique Culture of Xiapu Villages

   In the morning, get up early to visit Huazhu Village, a village surrounded by the sea on three sides. Standing on the viewing platform, you will see the spectacular sunrise, forming a vivid picture with the sea and hills. Also observe fishermen harvesting kelp and seaweed, as well as boats sailing in the morning fog.

   

   Next head to Yantian Village, which is one of the main fishing areas in Xiapu County. Here capture the unique landscape of oyster farms and piles of oyster shells on the mudflat. After that, go to Huyu’ao Village. There are many fishermen who live on the water and make a living from fishing and sea farming. Stroll through the village to experience the original life of Xiapu fishermen.

   In the evening, the guide and driver will transfer you to the hotel.

4. Day 4: Xiapu Departure
   Witness the Picturesque Sunrise View

   Today is the last day of the 4-day Xiapu mudflat tour. In the morning, head to Beiqi Village to watch the magnificent sunrise. At this time, the shadows of people and boats make a spectacular picture in the shining sunlight. You can also capture the changes in light and shadow on the mudflats, sea and rocks. Finally, proceed to Yangjiaxi Village to explore fish farms and ponds, and observe the vibrant fishes. Besides, take photos of local life and diverse nature in this tranquil rural area.

   

   After visiting, your guide and driver will transfer you to Xiapu Railway Station for your departure.
