Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Guangzhou to Liannan

   When you arrive in Guangzhou, the local guide and driver will greet you. From the bustling city, you will be transferred to the peaceful town of Liannan.

   After settling into the hotel, you can stroll around the town. Explore the traditional market, enjoy the natural scenery and taste the local food.

2. Day 2: Liannan's Culture
   Explore the Yao Culture and the Unique Cave Scenery

   After breakfast, the day will start your Guangzhou tour from Wan Shan Chao Wang Valley. There are more than 1,000 mountains and dense forests. Climbing up to the viewing platform, a full view of the valley can be seen. The Wan Shan Chao Wang Valley, literally meaning “Ten Thousand Mountains Paying Tribute to the King,” has attracted countless visitors from the past to the present with its layered peaks and deep forests. The rolling mountains stretch endlessly to the far end of the world, and after rain, you may see the magical sea of clouds gently covering the valley. Fresh air, quiet trails, and dramatic cliffs — with all of these, you’ll also get to praise it as a great spot for hiking and photography.

   

   Next, venture to the Liannan Youling Folk Yao Village, which is situated about 800 meters high on the half hill. Wander around the village to enjoy the beautiful scenery and wonderful stilted buildings. Also you will enjoy traditional performances such as Yao’s long-drum dance and Yao Songs.

   After a lunch of local delicacies, we will head to the Lianzhou Underground River. It is a huge natural limestone cave and is divided into caves and underground rivers. Here admire stalactites of various shapes, and take a boat across the river to explore the amazing views on both sides. 3. Day 3: Yingde Nature Exploration
   Admire the Magnificent Natural Scenery

   In the morning, move to town of Yingde to continue the tour to Guangzhou. First, we will visit the magnificent Corridor of Peaks. Here appreciate more than 1,000 peaks of various forms, dense trees, and clear streams. And many of the ancient buildings here can give you an insight into the local culture. As you walk through this picturesque landscape, the guide will share the fascinating legends and history.

   After a delicious lunch, board a boat to explore the Cave Fairland. There are mountains, rivers, sinkholes and other magnificent landscapes. Here, explore a unique natural cave, the clear Huanghua River, and an ancient village. And standing at the glass viewing platform, you can see the karst mountains and take great pictures. Cave Fairland is a hidden karst wonderland providing people with a glimpse into some of the most striking natural wonders: caves, rivers, and green hills. Inside, colorful lights will take you into a magical world created by amazing stalactites and rock shapes formed over millions of years. Cruising on the clear Huanghua River also feels peaceful and dreamlike, as reflections of rocks and water create a fairy-tale scene.

   At the end of the day, you will taste the exquisite flavors of bean curd made from stone-milled tofu here. Later, drive to Qingyuan.

4. Day 4: Qingyuan to Conghua
   Experience the Amazing Glass Corridor Adventure

   Start your day at the Huangtengxia Glass Corridor, which has been officially recognized as the world’s longest and widest glass skywalk. If you are brave enough to step on this thrilling corridor, you’ll get a full view of Huangteng Gorge from a place which 500 meters above the ground. This clear glass can also offer you an unforgettable memory which is a blend of adventure and beauty, since, except for the rivers and mountains view, the city also comprises a major part of this stunning picture.

   

   After lunch, head to Conghua. After settling into the hotel, you can rest by enjoying the natural hot springs. The hot springs here are rich in minerals, allowing you to relax your muscles and refresh yourself.

5. Day 5: Forest Park
   Enjoy the Diverse Plant Kingdom and Taste Delicious Food

   Today, the Guangzhou nature tour begins at the Shimen National Forest Park. This park is 98.9% covered in forest and offers many natural scenery. Here explore tall trees, clear streams, spectacular waterfalls and etc. There are also opportunities to observe various wildlife, such as otters, pangolin and silver pheasants. Another popular attraction is Tianchi Flower Ocean, where different flowers are planted in different seasons. Strolling among these flowers, you can choose your favorite scenery and take beautiful photos.

   

   Later move to Zhengguo Old Street, which has more than a thousand years of history. Here visit the ancient houses along the streets and experience the Lingnan culture. Also eat the traditional Guangzhou cuisine like Zhengguo wonton, fish noodles, and seto powder.

6. Day 6: Guangzhou Highlights
   Unique Lingnan Culture and Charming Pearl River Night View

   After breakfast, we will return to Guangzhou and start the charming Guangzhou city tour. Embark on the excursion to Huangpu Port, an important hub for domestic and international trade. Here see a full view of Historic Site of Ancient Whampoa Anchorage and the skyscrapers near the port. So you can experience the blend of history and modernity in this place.

   

   Later consider an optional journey to Baiyun Mountain, consisting of more than 30 peaks. At the top of the hill, you can overlook the whole Guangzhou to take pictures of the city skyline. As the “Lung of Guangzhou,” Baiyun Mountain has over 30 peaks and scenic trails, which can be quite friendly for visitors looking for a nutural exploration. Moxing Ridge is the highest point, offering misty morning views, gardens, and pavilions where locals relax. Also, climb up to Moxing Summit to enjoy the stunning cityscape as well as the Pearl River in the distance.

   Alternatively, wander through the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, which is more than 800 meters long. There is a lot of Lingnan architecture here. While visiting the traditional buildings, you can enjoy a wide variety of local food. In addition, nice handicrafts are available for your purchase.

   In the evening, take a Pearl River night cruise to truly feel the beauty of Guangzhou’s skyline. 7. Day 7: Free Time in Guangzhou

   Today, you are free to arrange your own itinerary. You can choose additional guide services to explore interesting attractions, You may visit the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, a grand building which is designed to honor modern China’s founding father. Or the Temple of the Six Banyan Trees can also be a great choice, its ancient pagoda and calm atmosphere have always been appreciated by visitors. After all, simply resting in the hotel is also fine. 8. Day 8: Departure from Guangzhou
