1. Day 1: Chengdu Arrival

   Welcome to join this well-designed 3 days Chengdu panda group tour! After arrival, your driver will escort you to a panda themed hotel for check-in. For the rest of the day, you can familiarize yourself with this 'panda hometown' on your own.

2. Day 2: Panda Visit & Mahjong Learning
   Meet Giant Pandas, Savor Sichuan Snacks, Enjoy Tea Culture With Mahjong Fun

   After breakfast, meet with your tour guide and visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. It is recommended that you wake up early to avoid crowds and watch the most active pandas - eating bamboo, climbing trees and playing. The base simulates the wild ecological environment of giant pandas, and your guide will take you to search for adult pandas. In addition, you'll also see panda cubs and learn about related conservation work. The Panda Museum in the park showcases the living habits and current survival status of giant pandas.

   

   Lunch will be arranged for you to enjoy a panda themed nine-square grid snack. Taste all the representative snacks in Sichuan at one time including Dandan noodles, Fried Sugar Coated Rice Balls, bean buns in the shape of pandas and Bamboo tube food (packed in bamboo containers that pandas love to eat).

   In the afternoon, go to People's Park to experience Chengdu tea culture. Tasting the Gaiwan tea while watching the long mouthed teapot art performance. Surely, you can try pouring tea with a long mouthed teapot.

   

   Next up is the highlight of this trip: learning to play mahjong! You will be introduced to some basic rules of playing mahjong in advance. Don't worry, it's easy to learn. Deeply immersed in the joy of Chinese culture quintessence!

   After the trip, you will be taken to enjoy the delicious hot pot. Go back to the panda theme hotel for rest. At night, you can head to SKP "Tower of Vitality" to enjoy landscape water column on your own. Under the carefully designed colorful lighting, these columns present a futuristic visual effect.

3. Day 3: Chengdu Departure
   Cook Authentic Sichuan Dishes and Experience Local Culture

   This morning, taste more than ten authentic Chengdu snacks, such as Zhong Dumpling and make several representative Sichuan dishes personally including Kung Pao Chicken and Mapo Tofu in Sichuan Cuisine Museum. The museum displays thousands of Sichuan cuisine cooking utensils and graphic materials from the Warring States period (475-221 bc) to modern times, showing the historical evolution and cooking techniques of Sichuan cuisine.

   

   Sichuan cuisine usually includes more than 20 complex flavors such as numbing, spicy, fishy and red oil, pursuing excellent color, aroma, taste and appearance. Make classic Sichuan dishes under the guidance of a master. From getting to know seasonings, mastering heat, to tossing wok, this is a fun cooking journey. Enjoy your “food works” to the fullest.

   Afterwards, go to the Panda Post Office. Here, the core IP is the Chinese national treasure giant panda. You can see exclusive designed panda themed souvenirs such as postcards, stamps, stationery and plush toys. Stamp various panda commemorative postmarks and send a special postcard to your family or friends.

   

   Check out the popular panda wall climbing sculpture on Instagram at IFS. And nearby, you will enjoy an afternoon tea including panda coffee and desserts. The trip is coming to an end, and China Xian Tour will give you a complimentary mini portable mahjong set. After returning home, you can teach your friends and family to carry on the memories of this trip to Chengdu. Last, transfer you to the high-speed railway station or airport to leave.
