At 8:00 am or 12:00 pm our driver and English speaking guide will meet you by holding a sign with your name at your downtown hotel. You can also leave a note to advise your preferred pickup time when booking this tour.

Then you will be escorted to visit Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City. Tiananmen Square is the heart and symbol of Beijing and is the largest city square in the world. The spacious square has been used for many public celebrations, ceremonies, and demonstrations for over a hundred years. The Founding Ceremony of PRC was also held here on Oct 1st, 1949. The National Flag raising in the early morning and lowering in the late afternoon are the most solemn daily ceremonies on the square. Forbidden City is one of the largest and most completely preserved palace complex in the world. It functioned as the imperial palace in the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1912). There were 24 emperors of the two dynasties lived in the Forbidden City. The three grandest halls of Forbidden City are: Taihe Hall, Zhonghe Hall, and Baohe Hall. There are 9000+ rooms preserved in the Forbidden City. Today you will also pay a visit to Chinese Herb Medicine Shop to learn about the miraculous thing of traditional Chinese.

When the tour ends, you will be escorted back to hotel.
