Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Chongqing Arrival

   Welcome to China's Mountain City, Chongqing, for our 5-day carefully-crafted Chongqing trip! Upon the arrival, your local driver will pick you up at the exit of the Arrival Hall and send you to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the 8D magic city.

2. Day 2: Nature Exploration
   Take Sightseeing Train, Marvel at Karst Bridges

   After having breakfast, we’ll head east for around three hours to the Fairy Mountain National Forest Park in Wulong. This park features highland meadows, thick forests, unusual peak shapes, and snowy views. You’ll see cattle and sheep wandering freely. Because of its scenery, it’s often called the “Little Switzerland of Chongqing.” There are many fun outdoor activities to try, like horseback riding, sliding on grass, and paragliding. In the winter, you can enjoy skiing at a professional resort. A sightseeing train ride has been arranged for you.

   After that, we’ll take you to another top natural attraction in Chongqing, the Three Natural Bridges in Xiannvshan Town. This area shows an amazing example of karst landforms. It features 3 natural stone bridges - Tianlong, Qinglong, and Heilong - stretching over the Yangshui River Canyon.

   

   The guide will take you to the scenic area using an eco-friendly vehicle. Then, go straight down to the valley by a sightseeing elevator and walk along a trail to explore. At the bottom, you’ll be surrounded by flowing streams, tall cliffs, waterfalls, and thick greenery. This place was also used as a filming location for Transformers 4.

   After that, you'll visit the biggest glass viewing platform in Chongqing, which is still in the Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area. From there, you can enjoy a wide and beautiful view of the landscape. When the visit is over, be taken to your hotel in Wulong to check in.

3. Day 3: Chongqing City Highlights
   Explore Chongqing's Rail Wonder and Dazzling Nightscapes

   Today, we will drive back to downtown Chongqing and take a walk through Ciqikou Ancient Town. This old town was built on the hillside and has a history that goes back to the Song Dynasty (960–1127). You’ll see traditional buildings, with Yinglong Gate being the most famous. Also, have a visit to Baolun Temple, aka Longyin Temple, boasting beautiful wooden design with two layers of roofs.

   Next, we’ll take you to Liziba Station to see the light rail train pass through a building - a unique and interesting sight. After that, go to Kuixing Tower, which was built in 1725 during the Qing Dynasty. In the past, scholars came here to pray for success in their studies. The tower is special because its eight sides are not all the same width. Finally, visit Qiansimen Bridge, a city landmark in Chongqing, where you can take great photos.

   

   Hongya Cave, located nearby, 11 floors and 79 meters tall, is our last stop. Its main features include traditional stilt houses, old-style shopping streets, and busy nightlife. You can try local snacks, relax with fun activities, and purchase handmade crafts. The night view here is especially beautiful and not to be missed.

4. Day 4: Old and Modern Chongqing
   Experience Modern Buzz, Historic Steps, Mountain Serenity

   In the morning, your guide will lead you to Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, the first major shopping street in western China. It’s a modern area filled with malls, stores, restaurants, and cafés. Both locals and tourists love coming here to shop, eat, and enjoy themselves.

   Just a short walk away is the POP MART store — a must-see for fans of trendy collectibles! Inside, you’ll find many surprise blind boxes, limited-edition figures, and branded items featuring popular characters. You can enjoy the fun of opening a blind box or take photos with the large toy displays.

   Eighteen Ladder is a historic stone stairway that connects the upper and lower parts of Chongqing. It has been around for over 100 years and is like a lively museum showing the city's daily life. Along the steep and winding steps, you’ll find signs of old Chongqing, like barbershops and tea houses. From Baixiangju, a traditional residence in Chongqing, you can enjoy a full 360-degree view of the city and see the Yangtze River cableway clearly.

   

   Finish the group tour at Laojun Cave, which is located on Laojun Mountain. It was first built during the Tang Dynasty as a Buddhist temple, but later changed into a Taoist temple during the Ming Dynasty. The cave is built along the mountain, arranged in the shape of the Chinese character “玄”, winding from the entrance to the top. There are 13 halls in total. You can also see well-preserved stone carvings and relief artworks here.

5. Day 5: Departure from Chongqing

   Your Chongqing group tour of 5 days ends here! After breakfast, your driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and escort you to the airport / train station for your departure. Safe travels!
