Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Chongqing to WulongDiscover Dramatic Karst Bridges and Alpine Meadows
In the morning, your driver and tour guide will pick you up at the hotel at the agreed time. Drive for 2 hours to reach the Wulong Karst National Park. First, visit the Three Natural Bridges Scenic Area, characterized by its large-scale natural stone bridge group and landscape of sinkholes. As its name suggests, there are three natural stone bridges with an average height of over 200 meters, spanning a 1.2-kilometer-long canyon.
Three Natural Bridges Walk down the path to the bottom of the sinkhole and look up at the magnificent arch. The quadrangle buildings located beneath Tianlong Bridge were the filming location for the movie "Transformers 4". The robotic dinosaurs fought fiercely among these huge "stone bridges", making this geographical wonder known to movie fans all over the world.
In the afternoon, head to another natural landscape at Fairy Mountain National Forest Park. It is known as the "Eastern Switzerland". There are 220 square meters of forests and 67 square meters of alpine meadows, presenting rare European-style grassland scenery around Chongqing. You will take the sightseeing train to traverse the grassland and forest or stroll on the lawn, enjoying the fresh mountain air. Besides sightseeing, you can also experience various outdoor activities such as horseback riding and grass sliding (at an additional cost).

- Day 2: Wulong to Pengshui, Back to ChongqingCruise Emerald Wujiang Waters, Explore Miao Heritage with Culture and Performances
After breakfast, drive to Wujiang Gallery where you will take a boat ride. The water is as green as jade, with continuous cliffs, strange peaks, rocks, waterfalls and flowing springs on both sides, like a dynamic giant landscape painting. Along the way, enjoy natural stone gates, caves and other landscapes formed by karst landforms. The traces of the ancient boatman's plank road can be faintly seen on the cliff and your tour guide will explain some history about this ancient waterway to you.
Take a boat ride on Wujiang Gallery Afterwards, visit Chiyou Jiuli City, which is the world's largest Miao architectural complex built in memory of the Miao ancestor Chiyou. The core buildings are the Jiuli Divine Pillar, Jiuli Palace and Nine Gate, all of which are exquisitely crafted. There is a main hall and a museum of Miao culture inner the city showing the history, beliefs and customs of Miao ethnic group through physical objects, murals and performances. During festivals or specific time periods, grand Miao song and dance performances and sacrificial ceremonies will be held in the city.
