- Day 1: Welcome to Harbin
Welcome to Harbin, the "Ice City" in China! Upon your arrival, your friendly guide and driver will meet you at the airport/train station and then transfer you to your hotel in the downtown area. After check-in, take some time to rest and freshen up.
In the evening, you can explore the city on your own. A highly recommended activity is the enchanting Ice Lantern Show in Zhaolin Park, which has been held annually from January 5th to the end of February since 1963. This free event takes place in a 6.5-hectare ice and snow kingdom, featuring over 2,000 cubic meters of ice and more than 1,500 ice sculptures. The display showcases the distinctive artistry of ice lanterns with a unique northern charm. You'll witness beautifully crafted ice lanterns illuminating the night.

Zhaolin Park Ice Lantern Show - Day 2: Harbin to China Snow Town TourImmerse in a Winter Wonderland with Unique Mushroom Snow
After breakfast, you will leave for the amazing China Snow Town, a winter wonderland located 260 kilometers from Harbin. This village transforms into a fairy-tale world during winter. The pure and abundant snowfall lasts from October to April. It's an ideal destination for enjoying and playing in the snow. The snow-covered wooden houses create a unique spectacle known as "mushroom snow," which is a signature attraction of Snow Town.
China Snow Town Upon arrival, check into the hotel for a short rest. Next, take a stroll along Xueyun Avenue, the liveliest area in Snow Town. Stretching more than 900 meters from north to south, this street is lined with shops on both sides, featuring distinctive Northeastern architectural styles adorned with red lanterns. Afterward, leisurely explore Snow Town at your own pace. You can experience the joy of water turning into ice.
As night falls, you will witness the town transform into a fairy-tale landscape, where the glistening snow reflects the soft glow of lights.

Today, you need to get up early for a picturesque morning. Your guide will take you to the highest place around Snow Town - Yangcaoshan Hill. The mountaintop offers a broad panoramic view. The reward for waking up early is the rime-covered landscapes and misty pines.
Note: If time is limited, you will enjoy your free time in Snow Village on your own.
Yangcaoshan Hill After that, we will begin our journey back to Harbin city. Following dinner, you will experience an ice and snow feast at the Ice Festival in Harbin Ice and Snow World. This site boasts the world's largest ice sculpture exhibition, featuring dazzling ice lanterns, snow sculptures, and ice carvings. Within the Ice and Snow World, you can immerse in the pure joy of ice and snow and experience activities such as ice slides and ice skating. The nighttime scene here is particularly enchanting, with sparkling ice lanterns creating a crystal-clear, fairytale-like ambiance.

Ice and Snow World in the Evening - Day 4: Harbin Cultural and Architectural TourAdmire the Large-scale Snow Sculptures and Russian Style Architecture
After breakfast in your hotel, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby and then lead you to the iconic St. Sophia Cathedral, a symbol of the city's history and culture. Built in 1907, this Eastern Orthodox church features a distinctive Byzantine architectural style with red walls contrasting against green domes and a dark green onion-shaped roof.
Continue walking to Central Street, where you will see many Baroque-style European buildings and interesting ice and snow sculptures of different shapes.
St. Sophia Cathedral Last, we head to the world-famous Sun Island International Snow Sculpture Art Expo in the Sun Island Scenic Area. Unlike the ice sculptures we'll see this afternoon at the Ice and Snow World, the snow sculptures here are more suitable for daytime viewing. The annual snow expo lasts about two months, during which visitors will enjoy a variety of large-scale snow sculptures from Chinese and foreign artists, which are exquisite in appearance and have a strong sense of art.
