6 Days Harbin Tour to Yabuli Ski Resort & Snow Town

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Harbin Arrival
   Visit the Essence of Harbin from Central Street to the Ice and Snow World

   Upon your arrival at Harbin Airport, the local guide and the driver will pick you up from the exit gate. (Please arrive at Harbin Taiping International Airport before noon)

   Central Street, the first stop, is a vibrant boulevard in Harbin known for its architectural charm and bustling atmosphere. Visitors can stroll along the cobblestone streets, admire the stunning European-style buildings, and indulge in local cuisine and shopping.

   The highlight of the street is the magnificent St. Sophia Cathedral. You will glimpse Harbin's rich history from this beautiful Russian Orthodox church with an intricate design.

   

   Then, come to explore the fantastic Ice and Snow World. As the most popular place to enjoy the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival, it draws visitors with thousands of exquisite ice sculptures, exciting snow entertainment projects, and interesting themed performances. Stroll around to enjoy the world's finest examples of ice art against the dazzling lights.

   Note: Ice and Snow World can get crowded during the winter holidays or weekends. You may need to wait a long time in the queue.

2. Day 2: Harbin City Sightseeing
   Appreciate Russian-style Buildings and Large Snow Sculptures

   After breakfast, drive around 1.5 hours to Volga Manor. Covering over 600,000 square meters along the Ashi River, this amazing park offers a glimpse of a charming Russian pastoral scene.

   Take a leisure walk here to meet many restaurants, entertainment, rivers, bridges, wetlands, and Russian-style architecture, like St. Nicholas Church, Pavlov Castle, Pushkin Salon, and forest villa, and look into various exhibitions about the Russian arts and paintings.

   

   In the afternoon, go to Sun Island Park, the second-largest venue where the annual International Snow Sculpture Art Expo was held during the Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. The display of many intricate snow sculptures will bring you a fantastic experience.

   Afterward, visit Siberian Tiger Park, one of the largest Siberian Tiger breeding and research center housing about 800 Siberian Tigers. Currently, about 100 of them are open to the public, along with other big animals like lions and pumas. You will see tigers in different life stages and learn about the current living situation of Siberian tigers in China.

   

   Then, head to Guandong Ancient Alley to trace the customs, culture, and food of old Dongbei. After the whole day, you will be escorted back to your hotel.

3. Day 3: Drive to Yabuli Ski Resort from Harbin
   Enjoy 3-hour of Skiing and Optional Snow Activities

   Today, you will drive around 3 hours to the exciting Yabuli Ski Resort. Equipped with the country's largest ski jumping facilities and many other top-level skiing facilities, Yabuli Ski Resort is highlighted as China's best and biggest.

   Upon arrival, follow your guide to fill your stomach at a local restaurant before your skiing begins. The tour guide will help you to get the primary entrance tickets and the basic ski equipment for you.

   

   Then start enjoying your skiing tour at Yabuli Resort. Forget your skiing level and age, the world's advanced ski resorts will provide you with the best highlight moments. In addition to skiing, you can experience some other optional activities at Yabuli ski resort, such as snow tubing and snowmobiling.

   Friendly Tips:

   1. This tour package includes 3 hours of skiing in primary ski areas and basic equipment like skiing boots, snowboards, and ski poles. Please pay in cash on your own if you want to have more time for skiing.
   2. Optional activities are not included in this package. Additional charges are charged by the resort.

4. Day 4: Yabuli to Snow Town
   See the Beautiful Night View of Snow Town on Xueyun Street

   This morning is free for you. You can enjoy any optional entertainment at Yabuli Ski Resort (at your own expense). After lunch, we will drive for 2.5-3 hours to China Snow Town in Mudanjiang City.

   Thanks to the effect of the cold air from Lake Baikal and the warm current from the Sea of Japan, the snow here lasts for 7 months (from October to May next year). The Snow Town was thus endowed with the most beautiful snowscape in the world and is reputed as the No. 1 snow town in China.

   In the evening, you can stroll down Xueyun Street to explore the beautiful night view of Snow Town on your own.

   Note: Snow Town is a small village, and the hotels there won't be as good as in big cities.

5. Day 5: Snow Town to Back Harbin City
   Spend Your Leisure Time in Snow Town

   This morning, enjoy your leisure time in Snow Town to encounter many photography opportunities.

   Some special photogenic sites charge a fee such as Yangcaoshan Hill and Dream Home (optional, pay on your own), and your tour guide is happy to assist if you would like to be there.

   Yangcaoshan Hill is one of the most beautiful places around Snow Town. The way to it is full of beautiful rime and misty pines.

   

   Dream House is a famous place to shoot Chinese TV series and movies. It's especially beautiful at night, and you can watch it the night before (on Day 4).

   Later, meet your driver at the hotel lobby and drive around 5 hours back to Harbin.

6. Day 6: Departure from Harbin

   You are free at leisure today. At the confirmed time (according to your flight), the driver will pick you up from the hotel and escort you to Harbin airport for your departure flight. This is the end of your 6-day Harbin tour with Yabuli and Snow Town.
