Welcome to Huangshan! Our 4-day Huangshan tour kicks off today. A professional guide will pick you up with a private car and then accompany you to the hotel for check-in.
The remaining time of the day is left for you to explore this city freely.

Before hiking Huangshan Mountain, we'd first visit Hongcun Village, which got its fame for the poetic scenery as elegant as an ink-wash painting. Take photos in the South Lake, where the ancient folk houses with white walls and black tiles are reflected. Stop at Chengzhi Hall to appreciate the exquisite wood carvings from ancient times.
After that, head to Huangshan Mountain, one of the most noted mountains in China. The āfour wondersā, including grotesque pines, odd-shaped rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs, are a magnet to throngs of visitors.
At Yungu Cable Car Station, follow the guide to take a cable car ride to Beihai Scenic Area. As the car flies over the mountain, dense pine forests and absurd rocks gradually come into your view.
Get off the cable car at Baiāeling Station and hike to Shixin Peak to see the sea of clouds. Then leave for Paiyun Pavilion. On the way, you can see the famous Black Tiger Pine.

You can decide how long to hike based on your physical strength. It usually takes about three hours to finish the first and second loop lines and return. In case your energy permits, spend one more hour enjoying sunset at Guangmingding Peak and visiting the Sky-Flying Rock.
Note: The Xihai Grand Canyon may close due to heavy snow from December to next March. If you travel during this time, we may adjust your hiking itinerary.

In Hongcun Village, you can make a unique fish lantern under the guidance of a professional mentor.
Warm tips:
- The temperature on the summit differs greatly from the mountain foot. Youāre advised to take windproof jacket even in summer.
- Free hot water is available in many service areas on the mountain. You can take your own glass to fetch hot water.
- Day 3: Yellow Mountain Back to Downtown AreaGreet the New Day With the Terrific Sunrise at Qingliang Terrace
Rise early this morning and get prepared for the marvellous sunrise view at Qingliang Terrace. Itās only 500 meters from the Shilin Hotel you stayed last night. Afterwards, go back to the hotel and have a rich breakfast.
Later, set off to the Lion Peak. Find the famous rock formation of āMonkey Watching the Seaā. The rock is about three meters high. Seen from a distance, itās like a real monkey squatting on the mountain top and gazing at the sea of clouds.
Stone Monkey Watching the Sea Return to Yungu Cable Car Station along the plank road and take a cable car down the mountain.
Your driver will be waiting for you at the mountain foot. He will transfer you to the hotel in the city center. Have a good rest.
- Day 4: Departure from HuangshanAppreciate Lofty Stone Archways and Bao Family Garden in Tangyue
Today starts with a drive to the Tangyue Memorial Archway Group in Shexian County. The seven imposing stone archways stretch in a continuous line, each bearing intricate carvings and inscriptions.
The tour guide will also show you around the Bao Family Garden, which was once the private garden of a famous Anhui businessman in the Qing Dynasty. It features nearly ten thousand beautiful bonsai. During the visit, the guide will also tell some interesting stories of the Bao Family.
Tangyue Memorial Archway Group At the end of the day, our driver will send you to Huangshan Airport or train station for departure. By then, your 4-day Yellow Mountain tour officially ends.
