Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrival in Zhengzhou
Welcome to our 3-day Shaolin Kung Fu Tour! Upon your arrival inĀ Zhengzhou, your private local driver will be waiting for you at the airport or train station. He will then take you to your hotel in downtown Zhengzhou. The rest of the day is at your leisure.
We recommend two attractions to visit in your free time:
Henan Museum: It houses over 170,000 cultural relics and is particularly famous for its prehistoric artifacts, bronze ware from the Shang and Zhou dynasties, and ceramics, jade, and stone carvings from various periods.
Yellow River Scenic Area: This is a large scenic area that integrates sightseeing tourism, leisure vacation, popular science education, ancestral worship, and the promotion of Chinese civilization. It features five major areas with over forty attractions open to the public.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, your tour guide will take you to Dengfeng to explore the legendary Shaolin Temple.
Stop to see an Astronomical ObservatoryĀ built in the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) near Dengfeng City en route. Then continue driving 25 kilometers to Shaolin Temple, located at the foot of Mount Songshan.
The Shaolin Temple was founded in 495 AD and is not only the birthplace of Zen Buddhism, but also of Chinese Kung Fu. It is known as the "holy land of Kung Fu".
Visit some major sites and glimpse the stories of the mountain gate, Heavenly King Hall, Bell Tower, etc. Pagoda Forest is a highlight of the scenic area. It has collected over 200 pagodas from the Tang Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty. This site is a graveyard for the departed eminent monks. Pagodas are of different shapes, heights, and arrangements, making them look like a forest, so the place got the name Pagoda Forest.

- Day 3: Kung Fu Lesson and DepartureLearn Shaolin Kung Fu and Observe Advanced Training
Today you will be learning Shaolin Kung Fu after breakfast. The entire course lasts 2 hours. Learn Kung Fu passed down through several generations of Shaolin monks under the guidance of a professional teacher.
If time permits and you are interested, you can also learn some Emei martial arts movements. Emei Fist was first created by Taoist nuns as a self-defense technique for women. Nowadays, both men and women can practice it.
Join a Kung Fu Training Class Afterwards, take a walk around the school and observe the daily practice of advanced students. You'll witness the rigorous training that practitioners undergo to become true Shaolin Kung Fu masters.
The 3-day kung fu tour comes to an end here and we will escort you to the airport/train station.
