Good morning! Your driver and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 7:00 - 8:00 am. The exact time will be confirmed with you by the guide the night before. Then, drive for about 2 hours to Mutianyu Great Wall. On the way, your guide will briefly introduce today’s itinerary and share some useful visiting tips.
Mutianyu is reputed as one of the most scenic and best-preserved sections of the Great Wall. With fewer tourists and flat steps than other popular sections, it is preferred by international travelers. To ascend to the top, you can either hike or take the cable car at your own expense.
Experience the excitement of an open cable car descending the mountain at Mutianyu Walk on the bricks laid more than 600 years ago and pass through the watchtowers one after another. Stop at Watchtower No. 14 to take a photo with the famous stone monument saying "He who has not been to the Great Wall is not a true man".
Depending on opening status, continue to Watchtower No. 20, known as Hero's Slope. It is the highest point at Mutianyu, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the Great Wall winding along the mountain ridge, just like a dragon. When going downhill, young travelers can pay extra to experience the exciting toboggan.

Tips: Elderly travelers over 60 are not allowed to take the toboggan and young kids under 3 should be accompanied by an adult.
