Your driver will transfer you from your Shanghai hotel to the railway Station for a high-speed train to Suzhou, which takes about 30 minutes.
Upon arrival, meet your guide and driver at the exit and make a brief visit to the Suzhou Garden Museum. Through exhibitions and models, you can get a general understanding of the exquisite architectural design of classic Jiangnan-style gardens.
Continue to one of the most representative gardens in Suzhou - the Humble Administrator's Garden. The entire garden is divided into three sections, with the Central Garden being the highlight. Your guide will lead you on a stroll among the pavilions, rockeries, ponds, bridges and winding corridors. Learn how they were carefully designed to create ever-changing views.
Appreciate the graceful lotuses in Humble Administrator's Garden Visit Tiger Hill this afternoon, a historic site where ancient buildings, gardens and natural landscapes come together. The main attraction here is the Yunyan Temple Pagoda, which currently leans 2.34 meters — a phenomenon that predates the Leaning Tower of Pisa by more than 200 years. Stroll along the mountain paths and see the pagodas, courtyards and greenery.
Pingjiang Road is the final stop, where you can experience the laid-back lifestyle in old Suzhou. Walk along the stone-paved path by the canal and enjoy the traditional buildings, small bridges, flowing water and browse handicraft shops. Take a break for a drink or pick up local crafts as you like.
