Your tour starts at about 01:00 p.m. Your guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel and take you to Yu Garden, a classical Jiangnan-style private garden hidden in the bustling city center. Walk along the narrow stone-paved paths and winding corridors to appreciate pavilions, rockeries, ponds and lattice windows.
Stroll along Nanjing East Road to see historic department stores, modern shopping centers and fashion stores, like POPMART. You can also purchase Shanghai local souvenirs at long-established shops, such as traditional pastries and White Rabbit milk candies. Or take a short break at a street-side cafe.
