- Day 1: Arrival in Shanghai
Welcome to Shanghai! Upon arrival, meet your guide at the train station/airport and transfer to your hotel by private vehicle. After check-in, you can relax or explore this international metropolis at your own pace for the rest of the day.
Optional Night Activity: Stroll around the City God Temple area to admire the illuminated traditional buildings on both sides, savor authentic local snacks like xiaolongbao, and buy some Shanghai-style handicrafts as souvenirs for your family and friends.

Start your dayĀ with a breathtaking view of the skyline fromĀ Shanghai Tower, Chinaās highest building located in Lujiazui.
RideĀ one of the worldās fastest elevators to the observation deck on the 118thĀ floor, where the panoramic city skyline willĀ unfold before your eyes. Pudong New Area, the historic Bund and the winding Huangpu River all come into sight.
Shanghai Museum EastĀ housesĀ extensiveĀ collections, including bronzes, ceramics, sculptures, jades, paintings and calligraphy. The exhibits span over 3,600 years of history. Among them, you'll focus on the Da Ke Ding, a bronze vessel more than 3,000 years old. Please note that the museum is closed on Tuesday.

Delve into the alleys to discover the creative shops, cafes and restaurants, and experience the charm of old Shanghai.
As one of the most prosperous commercial streets in Shanghai, Nanjing RoadĀ is filled with century-old buildings, time-honored restaurants, and souvenir shops. You will immerse yourself in the bustling atmosphere of the city center.
Walk eastward to the Bund,Ā the iconic landmark in Shanghai. Stroll around to appreciate the 52 buildings of different European architectural stylesĀ and uncover their past stories. At dusk, the futuristic skyline in Lujiazui across the Huangpu River lights up, showcasing the cityās present.
Drive back to your hotel for rest.
Optional activity: Huangpu River Night Cruise is highly recommended. It is one of the easiest ways to see the dazzling skyline on both sides of the river.
- Day 3: Shanghai to Suzhou by Private VehicleWander through a Jiangnan-style Water Town and a Classic Garden in Suzhou
Drive about 1.5 hours from Shanghai toĀ Zhouzhuang Water TownĀ in Suzhou, which is hailed as the No.1 Water Town in China. Stroll along the waterways and stone-paved lanes, crossing ancient bridges and past classic Jiangnan residences with white walls and grey-tiled roofs.
Discover the top highlights in the town. At Double Bridge, take in one of the town's most famous canal landscapes, where two ancient stone bridges cross at a right angle. In the Shen's Residence, explore the former residence of a wealthy merchant family. Enter the Zhangās Residence to see how a Jiangnan courtyard is built around waterways.
Decorations in Shen's Residence in Zhouzhuang Water Town Optional activity: Hop aboard a traditional wooden rowing boat and drift through the narrow canals. The boatwoman may sing traditional Jiangnan folk tunes.
Lingering Garden, one of the Four Greatest Gardens in Suzhou, is a representative of classical Jiangnan gardens.
Though the architecture, pavilions, corridors, and ponds are densely arranged, its exquisite layout makes it feel surprisingly spacious and harmonious. Every step unveils a new landscape.
The garden includes many rockery areas, uneven stone-paved paths and steps, so wear comfortable shoes.
Return to Shanghai by car after the tour.

Spend your morning on a leisurely city walk along Wukang Road. Wander down the tree-lined avenue, passing elegant historic villas, former residences, hidden boutiques, and quiet cafƩs. One of the street's most recognizable landmarks is Wukang Mansion, where you can photograph its distinctive wedge-shaped facade.

Move forward toĀ Shanghai Propaganda Poster Art Center.Ā This private museum collects over 400 propaganda posters published in the last century, offering you a glimpse into the history of modern China.
After the visit, your guide and driver will transfer you to the airport or railway station for departure. Your tour draws to an end here.
