Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Shanghai Arrival

   Welcome to our 4-day family holiday in Shanghai! Your private guide will be waiting for you in advance, depending on your arrival time, and will take you to your downtown hotel to check in.

   You are free to spend the rest of the day as you wish.

   Free Time Ideas：

   A curated shopping map of Shanghai, allowing you to experience the city’s vibrant commercial scene.

   In the evening (19:00–22:00), take an evening stroll through the surrounding area of the City God Temple. With the area ablaze with lights and bustling with people, the historic buildings harbor a variety of time-honoured eateries and cultural and creative shops - perfect for a stroll while sampling the local food.

2. Day 2: Shanghai Essence
   Discover the historical vicissitudes and technological allure of the ‘Magic City’

   You and your family will meet the local tour guide and start your Shanghai tour to the Shanghai Museum.

   

   There are four floors in total - on the first floor, you can see bronze ware and sculptures; an exhibition of ancient ceramics on the second floor; the third-floor houses calligraphy, painting galleries, and seals from various dynasties in China; on the fourth floor, there are jade artifacts, coins, Ming and Qing furniture, etc. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn about Chinese history.

   Next, admire the exquisite rockeries, winding corridors and floral windows in Yu Garden (Yuyuan Garden). Every corner here embodies the elegance of Jiangnan gardens. Adults can learn about the history of this former private garden, while children can watch the koi swimming about and explore the rockeries.

   

   Head to the Lujiazui Financial District, where a 45-second lift ride takes you to the 88th-floor observation deck of the Jin Mao Tower, offering a 360-degree panoramic view of the Huangpu River and the magnificent Bund. Looking down and you can also see the hotel’s atrium, which resembles a ‘time tunnel’.

   The last highlight of today is the Bund, once a British concession. 52 classical buildings stand here with different styles, known as the World Architecture Exhibition Group. When enjoying the scenery, listen to the tour guide's explanation of the story that happened on this area.

   

   Optional Activities：

   Enjoy a breathtaking, high-difficulty acrobatic show that blends high-tech stage design, drama and music. The heart-stopping spectacle of motorbikes darting back and forth inside a steel sphere 6.5 metres in diameter is a highlight.

   Take a night cruise on the Huangpu River to admire the dazzling sight of the buildings on both banks illuminated against the night sky.

3. Day 3: Shanghai Disneyland
   Have a Happy Time with Families at Disney Resort

   Your private driver will pick you up from your hotel and drive for about 1 hour to today's destination.

   Today dream of fairy tales will come true at Shanghai Disneyland Park, the happiest place in the world. Opened in 2016, it is the first Disneyland theme park in Chinese mainland. Numerous adults and children come here to pursue their beautiful dreams.

   

   You can take photos with the classic Disney characters, feast on fantastic food, and shop around for nice gifts. There are so many interesting experiences waiting for you, such as a warm welcome on Mickey Avenue, soaring over the horizon, and roaring rapids. As night falls, you can also enjoy a spectacular fireworks display. The best vantage point is directly in front of the castle. Prepare for a joyful time!

   

   The driver will be waiting for you in the parking lots where he will drop you off, and transfer your family back to your hotel in Shanghai.

   Travel Notes：

   We recommend arriving at the park entrance around 7.00 am to join the queue, so you can be among the first to enjoy the popular attractions when the crowds are lightest.‌‌

   For dining within the park, we recommend ‘Disney Town’, where you’ll find more options and better value for money.

   The fireworks show is typically held at 20:00 and 21:15‌, but the schedule may vary daily; please check the official announcements for details.

4. Day 4: Shanghai Departure

   If you’re not quite ready to end your trip, why not book an afternoon flight? That way, you and your family can enjoy a leisurely morning - perhaps having a lie-in or exploring more family-friendly activities.

   A private vehicle will escort you to the airport or railway station in accordance with your flight schedule. Your 4-day family trip to Shanghai has come to an end. We hope you and your family had an unforgettable moment!
