At the appointed time, your guide and driver will take you to Shuyanfu at EKA Tianwu, an industrial-heritage complex, for a dinner that combines Chinese cuisine, live performances and traditional decor.
On entering the restaurant, you will see the main hall with a red-brick structure, high ceilings, and Han-style decorations such as red lanterns.
During dinner, watch a large-scale staged performance covering different periods of Chinese history. Programs include ritual and long-sleeve dances, powerful sword dances and Silk Road-inspired music, showing aspects of Chinese court culture and tradition.
The stage setting changes with the program. Costumes, lighting and live performance create a dining show based on historical banquet themes.
Dance performance in Shuyanfu Dinner While enjoying the performance, you will have a Chinese banquet with creative Sichuan dishes. Before each dish is served, a light and shadow show will tell the story behind the dish’s cultural or historical origins. And the tableware is modeled on Tang-dynasty gold and silver vessels. The menu changes by season.
The full show runs about 100 minutes and offers an evening activity focused on Chinese cuisine and performance.
Creative Sichuan Dishes served in Shuyanfu Optional Activity: The restaurant offers a selection of traditional Chinese costumes from the Tang and Ming dynasties. If you’d like to dress up, arrive 1–1.5 hours before your reservation. Professional stylists will help you get dressed, style your hair, and apply period-inspired makeup.
