4 Days Xian Tour Package with Tang Dynasty Dance Show

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Xian Arrival

   Upon your arrival in Xian, our local driver will pick you up at Xian airport by holding your name and then transfer you to your downtown hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal.

2. Day 2: Xian Terracotta Army Tour
   Appreciate the History and Cultural Symbols of Xi'an

   In the morning,  meet your private Xian tour guide and driver, and you will be transferred to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, renowned as the "Eighth Wonder of the World." It is a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring life-sized warriors, and many horses and chariots. Your guide will lead you to visit the Pits 1, 2 and 3 of the Terracotta Army and explain the stories behind them to you.

   

   Following lunch, we'll return to the city center to explore the Xian Ancient City Wall - a well-preserved defensive structure encircling the Xian city center. You can choose to take a leisurely bike ride along the wall to enjoy scenic views of Xian (optional, at additional cost).

   Then, you will pay a visit to Yongxingfang Food Culture Square. Here, you will find many shops and stalls arranged in narrow alleys. Appreciate local handicrafts and taste various street snacks.

   In the evening, Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty show will be waiting for you. It's a good chance to enjoy a spectacular music and dance show and taste delicious dumplings.

   After the show, your guide and driver will escort you back to the hotel.

3. Day 3: Xian City Highlights Tour
   Explore Landmarks in Xi'an City Center

   After breakfast, your guide and driver will transfer you to the Xian Museum. The museum has collected numerous cultural relics from various eras in the Xi'an area, some of which were unearthed from important dynasties in Chinese history such as the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang dynasties, including many exquisite cultural relics. You can learn about the thousand year history and development of Xi'an as a capital. In this scenic area, you can also see the Small Wild Goose Pagoda.

   

   In the afternoon, continue your tour in Xian city center with a visit to Da Cien Temple. Here you will see one of Xian landmarks of Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. With 7 floors and a height of 64.517 meters, it was built to hold sutras and figurines of the Buddha that were brought to China from India by the Buddhist translator and traveler Xuanzang in the Tang Dynasty (618-907).

   Then stroll around Bell and Drum Tower Square to admire the Bell Tower and Drum Tower from a distance. At last, you will take a walk in the Muslim Quarter, the best-known food street in Xian. You can optionally try some local snacks. It will be a good chance to record the local food with your camera.

   After a great time, return to your hotel.

4. Day 4: Xian Departure
   Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors One Third in Size

   In the morning, the guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and lead you to the Yangling Mausoleum of the Han Dynasty. This is the tomb where Emperor Jing and Empress Wang of the Western Han Dynasty were buried together. It was first built in 153 BC and completed in 126 BC. This is the most well preserved Han dynasty imperial mausoleum discovered so far.

   You will be led to explore the underground tomb, where there are one third of the size of the Terra Cotta Warriors (about 60 cm high), without arms. The tour guide will explain ancient funeral rituals to you.

   End of the 4-day private Xian tour package, you will be escorted to the airport for your flight to the next destination. Look forward to seeing you on your next China tour!
