  2. Rest in the hotel until noon. After lunch, the tour guide will take you to visit the Xi’an Ancient City Wall, which has a history of over 600 years.

Go up the city wall from Yongning Gate (known as the "Welcoming Gate" of Xi'an) and take a leisurely stroll along the top. On one side, you'll see the old city streets with gray bricks and tiled rooftops; on the other, the modern cityscape with tall buildings and bustling traffic. Following your guide's introduction, learn about the designed military defense system, including moats, drawbridges, arrow towers, and watchtowers.

Optional Activity: We recommend renting a bicycle to enjoy a ride on the Ancient City Wall. The pace and path are entirely up to you, so just ask your guide for more details!

Afterwards, go down from the wall to the LaocaichangĀ Creative Block. Here, the original brick walls and building structures of factories from the 1950s are preserved. From the 3A Rooftop, a trendy open-air platform showcasing local street culture, get a close-up view of the Xi’an City Wall’s Jianguomen section and corner towers.

You'll see a striking contrast: downstairs is the traditional market with people carrying baskets and calling out to sell their goods, while upstairs, young people hold coffee and take photos for social media.

Next, explore Yongxingfang Street, once one of the 108 neighborhoodsĀ in the Tang Dynasty. Today, it has been rebuilt with Tang-style architecture featuring gray bricks, flying eaves, and dougong, along with elements like northern Shaanxi cave dwellings. Here, you can taste local intangible cultural heritage snacks from Shaanxi, like layered oil cakes and potato rice cakes (at your own expense).

Finally, walk along Shuyuanmen Ancient Culture Street, where both sides of the street are lined with Ming- and Qing-style reconstructed buildings, displaying black-and-gold plaques. You may see local enthusiasts creating paintings or calligraphy on-site. If interested, you can buy a calligraphy fan with your name on it as a souvenir.

  3. Today, explore the ā€œEighth Wonder of the Worldā€ — the Terracotta Army of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, where you’ll witness the massive underground army up close. Be sure to check out the grand infantry formation in Pit 1 (each soldier averages around 1.8 meters in height), the unique cavalry and crossbowmen in Pit 2, and the military command center in Pit 3.

Next, head back to the city to visit the Northwest Trade Center City. If you love shopping for clothes or small, delicate accessories, this place is perfect for you. The items here are great value for money.

Continue your visit to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda Square, where a bronze statue of Master Xuanzang stands at the center. Using the statue as a foreground, you can take low-angle wide shots of the pagoda in the distance to capture a strikingly symmetrical view. Also, enjoyĀ Asia’s largest musical fountain, where dazzling lights, soaring water jets, and music blend perfectly with the pagoda in the background to create an incredibly impressive scene.

As night falls, wander around the nearly 2-kilometer-long Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City. You will see majestic Tang-style buildings, dazzling lights, and the viral online performance of the 'Tumbler Girl.'

Within the same area, the Xi’an Museum houses 130,000 cultural relics. In the ā€œAncient Capital Xi’anā€ exhibition hall, you can see a 1:1500 scale model of Tang Dynasty Chang’an City — truly impressive!

Next, check out the city’s central landmarks, where you can see the Bell Tower and Drum Tower, China's largest and best-preserved timekeeping landmarks. Your guide will explain the ancient Chinese system of marking time with morning bells and evening drums.

A ten-minute walk brings you to the Great Mosque, a blend of Chinese garden style and Islamic architecture. The entire building follows a traditional Chinese courtyard layout, complete with pavilions, towers, and upturned eaves. However, the stele pavilions and moon gates feature inscriptions from the Quran and intricate Arabic patterns.

Finally, visit the lively Muslim Quarter. You’ll see a dazzling array of food stalls, hanging red lanterns, and bustling diners. You can try authentic local snacks like beef/lamb paomo, cold noodles, and braised meat sandwiches (at your own expense). When tasting the food, order in moderation so you can leave room to try more goodies.

After the tour, you’ll be taken to the airport for your return flight to Kuala Lumpur/Singapore.
