4 Days Haba Snow Mountain Climbing Tour from Lijiang

Join our 4-day Haba Snow Mountain climbing tour, stepping on the golden fallen leaves, traversing the primitive alpine forest, and taking one step deeper into the snowy mountains. Standing at the top of Haba Snow Mountain at an altitude of 5,396 meters, you can see the beautiful sea of clouds and the magnificent group of snowy peaks around you. This is not a tough climbing route, except for overcoming altitude sickness.

Day-by-day Itinerary
- Day 1: Lijiang - Haba VillageHaba Village
Meet at the pick-up point and you will be transferred to Haba Village. Prepare your climbing equipment for tomorrow and acclimatize to the altitude (your guesthouse at 2,600m/8530ft). Learn the do's and don'ts of Haba Snow Mountain climbing from your professional guide.

Haba Village - Day 2: Haba Village - The Base CampPristine Alpine Forest, Base Camp
Today, you will climb 1,400m/4,593ft to reach the Base Camp at 4,000m above sea level. It will take 6-7 hours and the whole trek is about 15km long (9.3 miles), passing through scenic pristine alpine forest and several meadows along the way.
Trek through several meadows Your picnic lunch will be enjoyed at the halfway point. After arriving at the Base Camp, have a good rest in the hut or tent to recharge your energy for the summit climb tomorrow.
Notes:
- If you want to save your energy to climb to the top of Haba Snow Mountain, we can arrange a horseback ride from Haba Village to the Base Camp for you (extra fee required).
- If you experience altitude sickness or any discomfort during the journey, please inform your guide in time.

- Day 3: Base Camp - The Summit - Haba VillageThe Summit, Camp 1, Sacred Mountains of Daocheng Yading
Wake up early and have a simple breakfast before starting today's climb to the Summit. Leave your luggage at the Base Camp and travel lightly (just with climbing gear).
From the Base Camp to the Summit (5,396/17,703ft) of Haba Snow Mountain is about 5km, rising 1,400 meters. You will take a short break at Camp 1 (4,990m/16,371ft) to refresh yourself. The road from Camp 1 to the Summit is covered with snow and ice and it takes about 3 hours to trek.
Climb the Haba Snow Mountain Along the way, you will be treated to beautiful views of Haba Snow Mountain and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. If the weather is fine, you will have the opportunity to capture the Sacred Mountains of Daocheng Yading with your camera.
After a picnic lunch at the top of the mountain, hike down back to Haba Village.

The Summit of Haba Snow Mountain - Day 4: Haba Village - Lijiang
Today is the perfect end of your Haba Snow Mountain climbing tour. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast. Then transfer you back to Lijiang.
