Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Kunming Arrival

   Kunming is the capital of Yunnan Province and is known as the "Spring City" of China. After arrival, a local driver will pick you up at the airport with a welcome signboard "China Xian Tour" and escort you to the hotel in the city center. After completing the check-in procedures, you can explore the remaining time at your own pace.

   You can visit Green Lake Park on your own. Aka Cuihu Park, it is a beautiful urban park in the Kunming city center. You will appreciate the natural beauty, enjoy ultimate relaxation, experience local daily life, and even look into the rich cultural and historical relics of Kunming.

2. Day 2: Golf Tour in Kunming
   Experience Golf at Mountain Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort

   After breakfast, you will experience golf at the Mountain Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort, carefully crafted by golf legend Jack Nicklaus. Featuring the 5th-ranked golf course in Asia, this course offers undulating lanes and strategically located sand pits, making it a pilgrimage destination for golf enthusiasts worldwide.

   In the afternoon, your tour guide leads you to visit the Stone Forest, one of the most spectacular karst landscapes in China. This UNESCO-listed natural landmark in Yunnan is known for the majestic and rugged landscape of various-shaped limestone pillars and the unique Yi ethnic culture. You will stroll along the paths and bridges and immerse yourself in the legends of the local Sani people. The entire Shilin Scenic Area consists of multiple scenic spots. Some of the main attractions we are about to visit include the Stone Forest Scenic Area, which is the Greater Stone Forest and the Lesser Stone Forest.

   After the visit, return to Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort for an overnight stay.

   

3. Day 3: Golf Experience & Downtown Highlights
   Deeply Immersed in Kunming Local Life & Enjoy Playing Golf

   Today is still the golf experience at the Lake Course of Kunming Spring City Golf & Lake Resort. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr, the course features gentle slopes & wide fairways. You can enjoy magnificent lake and mountain views while playing golf.

   In the afternoon, your Kunming exploration takes you to the downtown highlights. Begin at the lively Kunming Flowers & Birds Market, one of the most popular markets in Kunming and a comprehensive market divided into six zones, including zones of flowers, birds, fishing gear, jewels and jades, and tourism crafts, full of beautiful things in the eyes.

   Continue to Yuantong Temple. Built in the Tang Dynasty, Yuantong Temple is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Yunnan and is the largest center for religious activities in Kunming. It's also a scenic area with spectacular architecture and unique stone structures.

   If you didn't visit Green Lake on the first day by yourself, the tour guide can take you to relax in the park today.

   

4. Day 4: Kunming Glof and Culture
   Panoramic View of Dianchi Lake from Western Hills and Yunnan's Ethnic Minority Culture

   Start your day at Kunming Lakeview Golf Club. This is an urban golf course designed by Nick Faldo, the most outstanding golfer in British history, on the shores of Dianchi Lake in 2003. This is the closest golf course to Kunming City, with an international standard of 18 holes.

   In the afternoon, be guided to explore the Western Hills. Since looking like a reclining beauty from afar, the Western Hills is also known as the Sleeping Beauty Mountain. It is home to several peaks, and the highest peak here stands about 2,507.5 meters above sea level, offering magnificent panoramic views of Kunming City and Dianchi Lake. Dragon Gate is the top highlight of Western Hill, where you will appreciate vivid carvings of 22 Taoist deities, 28 auspicious birds and animals, as well as intricately designed altars, vases, incense burners, etc.

   Last, pay a visit to the Yunnan Nationalities Museum, a window to see twenty-five ethnic groups in Kunming and experience their culture and traditions. You can see the exhibits of costumes, jewelry, instruments, weapons, and daily items, as well as the replicas of the traditional houses and villages of each group.

   

5. Day 5: Deapture from Kunming

   Enjoy your free time until your departure at the airport or train station. This is the end of your 5 days Kunming golf package tour. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey home. (Note: no tour guide, only a local driver will escort you to the airport or train station)
