AM: In the morning at 07:00-08:00 our guide will meet you in your hotel lobby. After collecting all tourists, we will drive for about 2 hours to Hangzhou. Marco Polo once thought of Hangzhou as āthe most beautiful and magnificent city on earthā.
Arriving in Hangzhou we will first pay a visit to the famous Six Harmonies Pagoda on the bank of the Qiantang River. That pagoda was built in 970 during the North Song Dynasty (960-1127) and now it is the national cultural relics protection units. Ā Then make a stop at Meijiawu Tea Village to learn about the Chinese tea culture and enjoy a short tea ceremony.
Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.
PM: After Chinese-style lunch you will be escorted to West Lake. Boating on the lake is included and you will pass by some of the highlight attractions of the lake like Three Pools Mirroring the Moon, Bai and Su Causeways, and Leifeng Pagoda. The boat ride ends at Flower Pond where you will see some pretty fishes and plants. After the tour transfer back to your hotel in Shanghai.
