2 Days Xian-Luoyang Tour by Bullet Train

Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Xian – Luoyang by Bullet Train
   Longmen Grottoes, Museum of Luoyang Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Pits, Luoyang Museum (Lunch)

   AM: At around 07:00, local driver will pick you up from hotel lobby. Then transfer to North Xian Railway Station for bullet train to Luoyang. Upon your arrival in Luoyang, met by local guide by holding a name board.
   The guide will escort you to visit the Longmen Grottoes, which is a treasure house of ancient stone-carving artworks. There are over 100 thousand stone statues that vary from 2-centimeter to 17.14-meter high and extend for about 1094 yards along the two banks of Yi River.

   Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

   PM: After lunch, you will pay a visit to Museum of Luoyang Eastern Zhou Royal Horse and Chariot Pits. The Eastern Zhou Dynasty is the last slivery dynasty in Chinese history. It is followed by the first feudal dynasty in Chinese history – the Qin Dynasty. The museum is built on the site of a large scale accompanying pit of the imperial mausoleum. Here you will explore the secret of the imperial mausoleum and appreciate the exquisite cultural relics. The last stop of today is Luoyang Museum which is a historical museum of China and houses over 1,700 cultural and historical relics in 5 showrooms — a presentation of 5 different social development periods such as the Primitive Society, the Slavery Society, and the Feudal Society.

2. Day 2: Luoyang-Xian by Bullet Train
   Shaolin Temple (Lunch)

   AM: After breakfast on your own, please meet your driver and guide in hotel lobby at 09:00. Then drive for about 1 hour 20 minutes to Shaolin Temple, the birth place of Chinese Zen Buddhism and Shaolin Martial Arts. Here you will see the Kungfu show performed by Shaolin monks.

   Noon: Lunch in a local restaurant.

   PM: Finish the sightseeing, our guide will see you off at Luoyang Longmen Railway Station. You will take the bullet train back to Xian. When you return to Xian in the afternoon, our driver will pick you up from Xian North Train Station and transfer you back to the hotel in the Xi'an city area. Your 2 days Xi'an-Luoyang tour ends here.
