Day-by-day Itinerary

1. Day 1: Sanya Arrival

   Upon your arrival at Sanya airport, our driver will greet you at the exit of the arrival hall by holding the "China Xian Tour" sign and transfer you to your hotel in Sanya downtown or Yalong Bay. Before getting off the plane, please double check your belongings. The rest of the day is for your own arrangement. (No tour guide service today)

   In your spare time, you are recommended to go to the "Coconut Dream Corridor" in Sanya Bay on your own. It is the best place to watch the sunset in Sanya. Take a leisurely stroll along the twenty-mile-long coastal promenade or rent a tandem bicycle for a ride.

2. Day 2: Sanya's Culture and Nature
   Nanshan Temple, West Island

   The morning time is for Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone, 40 kilometers away from the downtown. Our guide and driver will meet you at your hotel lobby at 8:30 am. This huge zone is composed of Buddhism Culture Park, Blessing and Longevity Park and Nanhai Cultural Customs Park. You not only can enjoy the natural beauty of the tropical coastline but also absorb the profound Buddhist culture. The undisputed highlight is the awe-inspiring 108-meter-tall statue of Guanyin, which stands solemnly in the South China Sea. We will visit here for 3.5 hours.

   

   In the afternoon, we transfer to West Island, the second largest island of Hainan Province. It has about 4,000 people living on fishing for generations. With crystal clear water and sandy beaches, the idyllic island is increasingly popular and attracting more and more tourists to have a nice holiday here. You can wander around to enjoy the amazing scenery, play water sports (at your own expense on site), meet all kinds of tropical fish, and try diving. At the end of the tour, we will escort you back to your hotel.

3. Day 3: Sanya Special Experience
   Monkey Island, Nantian Hot Spring

   Meet your guide after breakfast to start today’s adventure. The first stop is Nanwan Monkey Island, the only island-type nature reserve for macaques in China. It is a home to over 2,000 second-class state-protected macaques. The island with an area of 10.2 square kilometers is surrounded by sea on three sides. There are many plant and animal species, and forest coverage rate reaches 95%. You will take the longest cross-sea ropeway in the country to have a panoramic view of rows of fish rafts, beautiful beach and giant coconut trees. See an interesting statue at the square, a monkey sitting on Charles Darwin’s The Origin of Species, holding a human skull and lost in thought. Also, enjoy amazing monkeys' performances such as wire-walking, walking on stilts, and bike riding; you can take photos with those lovely monkeys and watch them chase each other and bathe themselves in the pond.

   To ensure you have a great time on the island, please note a few things. Firstly, please do not wear red clothes because female monkeys will be jealous of you and may tear up your clothes; secondly, please do not bring plastic bags in case the monkeys snatch them from you; avoid long-time eye contact with the monkeys; do not open your handbag or camera case in face of the monkeys because they may mistake that you have food for them and jump on you.

   

   After the monkey paradise, the hot spring will be waiting for you. Nantian Hot Spring is well known as No. 1 Hot Spring in China. The average temperature of terrestrial heat mineral water is 57°C, and the water is rich in silicic acid, fluorine, and radon, good forthe  human body. There are 60 hot spring pools in different shapes and functions, scattered amidst the natural coconut forest for privacy. You can just indulge yourself in the pool and enjoy a quiet time.

   The tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel.

4. Day 4: Sanya Tropical Rainforest
   Yanoda Tropical Rainforest Park, Binglanggu Li & Miao Minority Culture Park

   At 08:00 am, your guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby for a direct transfer to Yanoda Tropical Rainforest Park. The name "Yanoda," meaning "1, 2, 3" in the local dialect, was given the new meaning of “Innovation, Commitment, Practice”. Spanning 45 square kilometers, this lush sanctuary immerses you in a world of dense jungle, crystal-clear streams, and cascading waterfalls. Follow the plank roads winding through the canopy, breathe in the fresh air, and discover the ecosystem of one of China's most celebrated tropical rainforests.

   

   After lunch, we will be going to visit Binglanggu Li & Miao Minority Park. Binglanggu is a combination of a local village and artificial development. You will get to know Li & Miao culture from the shows, food, real houses, exhibitions and handicrafts. The highlight is a magnificent cultural show that vividly portrays local life, made exceptionally authentic by its performers - many of whom, including spirited grandmothers over 70, are villagers themselves. The tour concludes around 6:00 pm, when your guide will return you to your hotel.

5. Day 5: Sanya Departure

   Please prepare your belongings in advance. Our driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby at the agreed time and transfer you to the airport for your departure flight (no guide service; usually 4 hours in advance for international flights and 3 hours for domestic flights). Our 5-day Sanya tour will end here. Wish you a pleasant journey!
