Itinerary 21 Days In-depth China Tour including Yangtze River Cruise
We gave a bucket list of places to see and things to do in China to China Xian Tour, and they gave us an amazing experience.
We found China Xian Tour on the internet and were put in touch with Lenna, Senior Travel Consultant. Lenna is an absolute legend of knowledge, guidance, advice, and patience. We liased with Lenna for some weeks as we refined the options and inclusions, juggled hotels, trains, and cruises. At the end of this, Lenna provided us with a 30 page itinerary that detailed every step of the way, and there were many steps!
And everyone of those steps, connections, excursions, flights, trips, pick ups, hotels, and experiences worked! A testament to the expertise and attention to detail that Lenna put into crafting our individual experience. And if we wanted to change the itinerary with no notice, which we did at a couple of places, it was no fuss, and we moved seamlessly to another site.
A great thing that Lenna put in place was a WeChat group. This was such a great idea. All the guides and Lenna were part of the group so that any time we had a query or a call for help, someone was straight back to us with assistance. 24/7 support so useful.
We were lucky enough to spend some days with some of the delightful guides and get to know them. All of them had a passion and loved their cities, so knowledgeable about the history and Chinese culture and way of life. These young ladies and men put a face on China for us as we made friends with them.
It was a complex task turning our wish list into an itinerary, but Lenna really excelled, and we had such an amazing time, we can’t recommend China Xian Tour and Lenna enough.
We are 2 couples, and this worked so well. We passed many of the larger groups as they followed the tour leaders flag, and we walked with our guide listening to the history and explanation of the sites. Being just 4 westerners enabled us to have many casual encounters with local Chinese, from eager school children practising English on us to warm hellos and in-depth conversations. This was a highlight.
