- Day 2: XiningQinghai Lake, Qinghai Lake Cruise (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM: After the breakfast, you will proceed to the Qinghai Lake, the largest inland salt water lake in China. It is located at the east of Qinghai province and is at about 3,200 meter above the sea level. Magically, scenery in Qinghai Lake is totally different in different seasons. The weather conditions in summer and autumn are the most comfortable one, hence the lake’s scenery is the most beautiful during the two seasons. You can take beautiful photos here.
Noon:Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: Drive back to your hotel in Xining city.

Qinghai Lake - Day 3: Xining-Lhasa by Overnight TrainTa’er Monastery (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM: After the breakfast, you will visit Ta’er Lamasery. It has played an important role in Chinese Buddhist history and is famous all over East Asia. It is the treasure house of Buddhism and is also value for studying politics, economics and culture of Ming and Qing Dynasty. Standing in an magnificent manner according to the gradient of the mountain, the Ta’er Lamasery is an excellent architecture complex boasting 9,300 structures which are scripture halls, Buddha halls, lamas’ residences, and Buddhist pagodas. Then you will have an eye feast in the Youyi store, which is near the Ta’er temple and sells thousands of products.
Noon:Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: Finishing the Xining tour, you will take an overnight soft sleeper train to Lhasa.

Ta'er Monastery - Day 4: Lhasa Arrival
Today we will arrive in Lhasa and have a good rest in the hotel and prepare for the fantastic Tibet tour

- Day 5: LhasaPotala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM: Your amazing tour to the magnificent Potala Palace is arranged in the morning. Initially built in the 7th century, the Potala Palace has witnessed a 600-year chaotic time until to the reconstruction in the 17th century. From that time on, it has been the center of politics, religion, culture and economy. Nowadays, it is the largest treasure house in Tibet, attracting a great number of tourists and pilgrims everyday.
Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.
PM: After lunch, you will proceed to the Jokhang Temple, which is situated in the center of Lhasa City. Built in the 7th century, the brilliant period of Tubo Kingdom, the Kokhang Temple is the best architectural combination of Tibet, Han ethnic, Nepal and India, as well as also a holy Buddhist temple of worshiping the rare life-size statue of Sakyamuni at age 12th. Then you have two hours’ typical Tibetan life. The Barkhor Street, which is considered as “the window of Tibet” as it presents typical Tibetan life. The Barkhor Street is located in the center of Lhasa and embraces the Jokhang Temple.

Potala Palace - Day 6: LhasaDrepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Norbulingka Park (Breakfast + Lunch)
AM:After breakfast, you are going to visit the Drepung Monastery, located in the west suburb of Lhasa City. It is one of the “Three Great Monasteries and the largest one in Tibetan Buddhism.” Looking at a distance, the monastery is like a heap of rice, consisting of a group of white buildings layer upon layer. Proceeding to Lhasa Carpet Factory, you could see how an elegant, soft and colorful Tibetan carpet is weaved by locals.
Noon: Lunch at local restaurant.
Norbulingka PM: At the famous Sera Monastery, you will get an insight into the important aspects of Tibetan Buddhism. In the monastery in Tibet which is well-known for the excellent debating of Buddhist doctrines among lamas. After that, turn to visit the nearby Norbulingka Park, the most beautiful and largest man-made park in Tibet. This park has been built for 200 years and used to be the Summer Palace of religious leaders of Tibet.
